The commercial I’m about to describe can be viewed in a few different opposite ways. I saw a Cars.com commercial where a man is on a date with a woman, and during the date he has a puppet version of his date. She gets up and walks away, then she’s getting happy after getting a car.
This is how it could be viewed:
1. It shows a man showing more interest in a puppet version of his date than the woman he’s dating.2. This one can be anti-MGTOW. It shows a buffoon guy getting happy over a silly puppet, and the woman finds her happiness in a car and not a man.
I want to view #1, with the part of #2 where the woman wants to be more involved with the car than the man.
I even provided you a link to the commercial:

that was stupidly funny !
in regards to how to take it…hmmm..
the puppet looks like the woman he’s on the date with ,
then he starts kissing the puppet..
a greater mind than mine will probably decipher it ..
struck me as a bit weird and a sign of the times..
the guy is more interested in the puppet than the woman.
i don’t really know what to make of it ..Obviously Anti-MGTOW. Because if it was, they’d have portrayed Chad-like characters, not geeks. Again, nothing wrong with geeks but there’s the ‘low standard’ factor that the advertiser wants to express to its audience.
I interpret it in this way: “Even geek girls don’t need to put up with any men. They can just be empowered and independent and drive their own car.”
Did you know this saying popular in secondary school dating world?
Smart girls get smart boys.
Dumb girls get smart boys.Smart boys get both smart girls and dumb girls.
Dumb boys get squat.A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Obviously Anti-MGTOW. Because if it was, they’d have portrayed Chad-like characters, not geeks. Again, nothing wrong with geeks but there’s the ‘low standard’ factor that the advertiser wants to express to its audience.
thanks ! ..long day here ..good points .
It’s not just the commercials that falsely elevate women and denigrate men that I find offensive, it’s the ones that try to use sex to sell to men that really rankle.
At the first hint of sexuality, I’m out. A guy making out with a puppet… I’m not sure what to think about that but I don’t think it says anything good about men.
Well, I’m looking at that he’s more interested in a puppet than her. The puppet wins him over; the woman is not for him.

It is yet another advert showing men to be weak, dumb, geeky idiots and not worthy of a real womans time.
It also shows wiminz true nature, they will dump you in a second if you don’t measure up to their expectations and trade up, in this case to a new car! And as always being heartless, hypergermous and shallow are shown as good things for wiminz to be. F~~~ them all…
“Long is the way and hard, that out of Hell leads up to light.”
