    Yesterday morning I committed a serious micro aggression. I tripped over my dog in the dark. The bitch should not have planted herself in my path, but I’m the guilty one because I did not check my status as dog-master at the door.

    Final answer: We are both happy. Past transgressions forgotten and present pleasures enjoyed.
