Mr. Pistol Pete, you introduced a thread the other day devoted to the saw. I have been looking into clearing land stumps with fire, vegetable oil, and explosives. I came across these Canadian lads cutting down a huge tree. Hope you see this.

I just learned how to do a 10ft dia. tree with my 2ft bar!

I like to sometimes cut them high enough to carve a high back chair in the stump and make a cool place to sit down. I have some old wooden lat ski chairs, I wanna put a pivot high in a tree and extend it’s hanger pole making a long sweeping ski chair swing where the foot rest is turned into a treadle to power the swing, I stopped taking on project and buying restorable things in 2005, I still have more projects than I can handle, but at least I see light at the end of the tunnel.

Who’s got time for women? F~~~ that!

Like Redpillbible I almost hate to see a tree like that downed; I have several beautiful old oaks on my property BUT I love the saw–the saw is FAMILY! So many thanks for the vid!

And many nice things can be made from the wood, I just finished a pair of pistol grips made from Oak.

Cool video, the sound was oddly satisfying, like a good campfire.

    That sounds majestic as f~~~.
