Tuesday on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning discussed his recent golf outing with President Trump.

Manning said a lot of people told him not to go, but he recalled golfing legend Arnold Palmer saying that if a president asks you to play golf, you do it — so it was a “no-brainer” for the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

“I’ve had a chance to play with President Bush before — if President Obama or President Clinton asked me, I’d be there in a heartbeat,” Manning told host Jimmy Kimmel. “It was just the experience of playing with the office that was pretty cool to me. And I think it would have been almost un-American to have said no.”

Oh, I would probably do the same, but I would be talking s~~~ the entire round, I am sure I would not be invited back, and this goes for any President since I have been alive.

Respect is to be earned, not given due to a title. It’s not like these guys have been making America, or the world a better place for that matter since I have been around, nope, it is all in decline, and actually smoldering into a fire right now as we speak.

Peyton Manning still represents professional Football, and it would be wrong of him to turn down ANY POTUS because not only would it reflect negatively upon him, but also on the sport that provided him with so much.

I thought Tim Thomas not only showed poor judgement when he refused to go to the White House after winning the Stanley Cup, but also tarnished the NHL by NOT being a grateful ambassador of the sport.

    You always respect the office.

If obummer came to my house, I’d say “good morning Mr. President. “

In my opinion I would change Almost to Is.
