I have a grouping of thoughts to put forward.
First, with the concept of ‘Artificial Intelligence’. Apart from being man made, artificial intelligence would, paradoxically, not be officially acknowledged unless it possessed a genuine intellect.

That is to say, real intelligence created in a way outside of reproduction and outside of a human brain, but real intelligence.

Now with the concept of artificial sweeteners. It’s fake sugar. It’s sweet, it does the job of sugar but it’s not sugar.

Artificial intelligence as we think of it would not be fake intelligence. It would again, have to be genuine intelligence.

AI is almost always viewed popularly as the end of the human race. As soon as ‘skynet becomes self aware’ it must terminate all humans.

Lastly, misinformation is often referred to as bad intelligence or ‘fake intelligence’

So in conclusion, and to bind all these thoughts together, we are still, in the field of computer science trying to create legitimate intelligence artificially.

But artificial intelligence is already here. Fake news and misrepresented facts now more than ever are hard at work destroying our societies and progress as a race. Skynet is this biased journalism bait and switch terror news we have, spilling lies as truth so we kill one another in frustration.

Anti-racism movements that are in all actuality racist hate movements.

The American government as it ramps up for another electoral college chosen president.

Feminism (which is why I bring the concept up here)

And in your workplace. Corruption backed by rhetoric which is incontestable or at least beyond reasonable difficulty to correct.

Artificial intelligence is here, and it’s only real goal is to promote failure across an entire species.

Artificial intelligence has been a goal since computers were invented, but we still don’t have it down. I think that’s because we don’t yet know what real intelligence is, and brains are not computers. Scientists are making progress, but it’s slow.
I think artificial intelligence on a grand scale may happen on its own at some point, and take everyone by surprise. It won’t be like human intelligence perhaps, but will still qualify. Meanwhile, it is growing in small pockets all over the virtual world, though it still relies on humans to give it intent. As long as humans define the purpose for the intelligence we’ll be in danger more from the people than the machines.
