We all know the story of Pandora’s box, but I think it’ll be interesting to see the mind frame of the ancient Greece about women’s nature, by reading its full story.

There was 2 brothers: Prometheus (lit. fore-thought) and Epimetheus (lit. after-thought). When Epimetheus was being granted by Zeus a woman (Pandora), Prometheus tried to warn him. She was created from clay by Epimetheus as his fantasy (now we see how the story somewhat inspired the Bible) and given life by the gods (who were quite different with the perfect monotheis God we’re familiar today. They’re more like assholes with powers), and there’s a great chance that the woman is not only beautiful (granted by Aphrodite), but also deceitful (granted by Hermes).

Prometheus continued to be the most important person for humankind, because he stole fire from the gods. Fire is essential for human progress. While Epimetheus was smitten by his wife’s beauty and ignored his brother’s warnings. “She can’t be harmful, because she’s so beautiful.”

At their wedding, Zeus present them with a box. A beautiful box, with its keys. One condition, they mustn’t open it.

Being a woman, shiny things blinded her, and curiosity for short term pleasures made Pandora disregard her promise to the gods and to her husband, and opened it anyway. She then released famine, disease, and pain unto the world (though the bully Zeus was bothered to put Hope there as consolation). In my opinion, I’m pretty sure that Pandora wouldn’t take any responsibility. She’ll blame the gods for giving them such lovely gift plus its key, she’ll blame the husband for not being there to warn her, and she’s just a victim.

I’d like to compare red pilled men are like Prometheus and blue pilled men are like Epimetheus. Although Prometheus did have a wife, it’s almost never mentioned because his achievement is far greater.

That is all, folks. Have a great day.

    Thanks for sharing, man.

I never went deeper into this story, just the basic Pandora box, open=bad, thing.

Not to rain in your parade, but it’s seuz fault.

A sealed box is ment to be opened.

    You get it?

What is on shadows might come to light, a lie will be corrected, a secret will be known.

    THATS HOW IT WORKS.

A hoe will do what a hoe does, sooner or later things come to be.

It’s not destiny is just the normal action and reaction.

“There is people that is not curious, but is not because curiosity is bad, is becouse they are lazy”

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

Yeah. Zeus meant it as a petty revenge for Prometheus for tricking the gods (for mankind). He used women’s nature.

Never knew the full story behind Pandora’s box. Very interesting.

It is amazing how old proverbs and religious sayings still apply today. The actors have changed but the story remains the same.

Don't chase tail. Turn yours around, walk away, and live free!
