The Packers are paying Aaron Rodgers $80M — in the next 6 months

The Packers traded Brett Hundley, their backup quarterback, to the Seahawks on Wednesday morning.

They then worked on cementing their starter for quite a long while.

Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers are finalizing a four-year, $134 million extension, according to the NFL Network. That includes getting more than $80 million before March. The bulk of that is a $57.5 million signing bonus.

The Packers and the 34-year-old Rodgers recently have feuded, from the team releasing wide receiver Jordy Nelson to cutting ties with quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt. But Rodgers has been with the Packers since 2005, and likely will be there until his career is finished.

Jimmy Garoppolo signed a five-year, $137.5 million deal with San Francisco, which narrowly beat out Matthew Stafford’s five-year, $135 million extension signed last year for the richest NFL contract ever.

———–Use to love wasting a weekend watching football. Then the SJW’s figured it was their platform, well you can have it I don’t need it. I was not alone in this, the stadiums are empty. Still the NFL is throwing money around like it will just be automatic the fans will return. I hope it is a bitter pill for them.

    No replies!

This is the team I enjoyed being a fan of.

until I lost all interest in the entire NFL, like a lot of others
    admit.

Now all I have to say is:
    WHO THE HELL CARES?

I will not waist another Sunday watching these overpaid crybabies!
I will not feed their delusions of grandeur any longer!
Their product has no value to me any longer.

    Love and respect

I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.

    NFL? what’s that?
NFG, I’ll take a knee on that one.

Anyway communication, real open communication, is not wanted or even required in a relationship. Women cannot handle fully open and honest communication, plus most perceive it as a weakness on the part of a man. All that is required is catering to her whims, and even then nothing is certain. There is no way to be sure of having a successful relationshit with a woman. MGTaoist

I’m not going to stop watching, I like football. And I don’t give a s~~~ if the players take a knee either.

Sitting on my ass, watching tv, and a guy either stands or doesn’t stand during pre-game, which has nothing to do with the actual game or his performance.

Yeah, that’s a first-world problem right there. Excuse me for not getting my panties in a bunch over it. Now kick the ball and let’s get the game going.

So the takeaway is Danica is getting at least 40 million for doing nothing.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

I thought the NFL was a cotton picking slave plantation, say’s the players. I wouldn’t mind picking cotton for a couple million a year.

Never lose sight of what brought you here.

I never cared or liked football. So this means nothing to me.
