Libertarian here who is one step away from believing that Anarchy would be better than what we have now. So, yea, right there with you. I knew there was a reason why you and I get along so well even though we have different views about religion…

I also edited my reply to Faust, I am guessing he meant those who originally posted this piece on Twitter, though I would classify it as concerns, not trolling.

Correct. I am not talking about the people here. KM and others do a good job keeping the tuna and manginas out.

When things happen immediately with our legislation, the rest of the country has to race to keep up.

I remember liberals wanting the government to make gas powered vehicles illegal once the electric cars came into the market. None of them had any forethought to what would happen if 300 million people were all forced to drop $20,000+ on a new vehicle the next day.

When the ACA was passed, insurance companies, doctors, every type of company involved with billing insurance/healthcare was affected. And not in a good way. Even today companies involved with the ACA are still scrambling to figure out how to comply with all the ridiculous regulations.

When the gay marriage legislation was passed, same thing. But this affected many more businesses/organizations than the ACA legislation did. For example, we had a homosexual couple call us, they got married and wanted their status on their policies changed to “Married” Well the insurance companies hadn’t figured out yet (They had no time) how to reconfigure rates for same sex marriage.

On the same lines, now churches that oppose same sex marriages are now required by law to marry to homosexuals if they desire to be married in a church. Which that in and of itself it bat s~~~ f~~~ing insane.

When the government passes legislation like what I mentioned above, it negatively affects business involved with the legislation. To me, this is a bad thing. Legislation should bring on change, but do it slowly. It should be thought out and planned before being passed, but we all know that isn’t how it works.

Even if Trump was able to literally erase all the legislation of the last 8 years, it would still affect the country negatively. Because all these companies would now have to scramble to put things back the way they were. And still, 50% of the population would bitch and complain about it. Things have to be reversed, government needs to be reduced, but it’s going to take time. 100 days is not even close to enough time. I understand everyone’s impatience though, but splashing the pot again like the obama administration did won’t make things better.
