I thought it would be good to get views from any IT / computer guys we have here about online privacy and security and the best software and plug ins men can use

We’re now 21k+ and more likely to attract attention by the day

    I use:

    – a VPN (one that’s out of the country, doesn’t keep any logs and got good reviews)
    – disconnect
    – ad block plus
    – https everywhere
    – disconnect search
    – anti virus software

So, IT guys, are these any good? And do you have any other tips for us non computer guys here?

I work with some software, and I will say that having a VPN more secure than a other Network configurations, so in that department you are golden. Everything looks good, but what antivirus software do you use?

What difference does it make when almost anything you do can actually be hacked has been hacked and will continue to be hacked. Sure talk about a VPN. Nobody actually believes that is untraceable

I would be concerned if I wasn’t 100% proud of everything I posted. There is no shame in MGTOW anymore. Those days are OVER. We also have too many appreciative fan-mails from women which would HUMILIATE many detractors if we published the collection.

Take what precautions you feel comfortable with. We provide an HTTPS connection for credibility and peace of mind that all your communications are encrypted. Even WE don’t know your password and it’s stored in a hash, we couldn’t even tell you what it is if you asked , and you would need to re-generate another one.

Even your display name can be changed on a whim , and in a split second, POOF!! everything you posted is attributed to someone else. Use “John Galt” and confuse the f~~~ out of anyone. There can be 21,000 John Galts here and we did it that way on purpose – in your best interests.

Out there on the internet, many sites have malicious intent (virus etc.) and look to exploit, but we are not one of them. Enjoy your stay and please be comfortable.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I’ve no concerns with the site here. I’m more concerned out there generally on the wider web and that fact that the UK has a a known man hater Prime Minister who passes laws to persecute men

Yet one more reason why Keymaster rocks. But …

Use linux as your OS and run another version of Linux in a vmware container. Then make a new copy of that virtual OS each week to use. (Takes two minutes.) Then if somebody does hack into you there is nothing there of importance and if they destroy it no big deal just copy over a new one to use.

Make sure all your ports are closed that are not needed.

Use tor on top of jap on top of your vpn.

Turn off javascript and all the pictures. Easily done with say Opera.

Do this all from a spare laptop that has nothing on it of importance.

    Why not publish them?

Perhaps we will. Thought about it the other day since we have been getting so many in 2016/2017 and especially in recent months. We have been VERY quick and eager to publish criticisms in the past – and humiliate them – so why not also publish the compliments, right? Perhaps we can do a “what women are saying” section, but …..

Mostly it’s because — >> the female opinion on MGTOW is irrelevant.

    We gotta remain consistent.

Remaining relevant is sometimes a very tough thing to do. Marketing is not the easiest thing you ever encounter persevering is priceless

Marketing is not the easiest thing

Contrary to what some might think. This website does NO marketing. No advertising anywhere. ALL traffic is organic. Something ELSE brings them here. Like their curiosity. Or typing a question in google like “% of wives who cheat”. We see the searches that land them here.

One of them was “how do I convince a man to marry me?”.

    LOLZ

If she was looking for a handbag on sale, she might type in “near where I buy my Starbucks”.

Remaining relevant is sometimes a very tough thing to do

MGTOW.com surpassed it’s highest level of worldwide relevance yesterday – to date.
We rank #1 on google for “MGTOW”, and 29.5K in the US, 87K worldwide out of 45 million websites.

    @magus: I thought I was paranoid.

I don’t give a flying f~~~ about what anyone thinks of my vast arsenal of postings here. I’ve been told by a few Brothers that I did them some good so that’s all that matters to me.

The only thing totally secure are electronic devices that has been smashed to bits and burned

I run VMs as needed, VPN, everything potentially aggressive is denied by default using firewall and clients. I don’t really trust anti-virus but run it on all PCs and my network gateway. I don’t say anything online I would not say to someone’s face. Dropping live red pills on women for sport is fun.

I will say if you’re paranoid about your cellphone microphone then keeping it against a speaker playing music even at low volume is quite effective at masking room conversation. I’m sure they could resort to Fourier techniques, but it does raise the cost of having them listen to my Fleshlight doing its thing.

You pretty much need a VPN these days. You just don’t know who is running a given site, or for what purpose, or what they might do with the information you give them.

I’m sure there are people who have nothing better to do, who would spend the time setting up fake sites to corral a bunch of hapless people and them doxx them enmasse.

Does this explain why this site seems slower sometimes? I check other websites when I notice it’s slow here and the other sites are ok. It’s not doing it right now.

Don’t advocate illegal activity and you’ll avoid plenty of headaches.
