That was f~~~ing brilliant! I don’t know who this guy is but I wish he had been around when I was 19 and suffering from this very delusion. For years I was absolutely convinced that this girl I met in college was THE ONE. She was a girl next door type, very smart, and we had the same interests and beliefs. I dated her for 5 years. (No sex she had a very strict no touching policy) I didn’t care because I figured one day we would be married and this would take care of itself. What a FOOL I was. Then when I began talking about marriage she did a 180—I was told: ” I’ve never felt “that way” about you we’re just friends”. Even so I remained stupidly committed to the idea she was the one and would one day come around. Never happened. She never did marry anyone–just lived with her father until he died and then she moved into a retirement/trailer park with her 4 cats. This video would have saved me years of misery. I hope this video is archived on the MGTOW site somewhere—especially for the younger guys. GOD I WAS STUPID! But not any more.

Not in a place where I can watch the video yet but I will say this: oneitis isn’t about the woman herself… it’s about the desire to overcome being denied access to her.

In every case of oneitis you’ll hear the dude talk about how he felt there was deep intimacy but little or no sex. Once you f~~~ a woman, things change. You start to see her for what she is. But if she can hold off the sex for long enough, a typical man will fixate on a woman and justify to himself why he’s NOT f~~~ing her and then she can milk him for months or even years.

This is why you should always take a woman to bed within three meetings or cut her loose. If you let things go too long before getting sex, you risk getting stuck. If she’s not putting out, you’ve got to get out.

Yeah I felt the same way about a few broads back when I was young, dumb, and full of…well, you know. Nothing ever really went anywhere, of course, but that didn’t stop me from hoping that they were the one. Now I’ve gotten out without any real damage, and I doubt I’ll ever go through that again.

Good point but there are strains where the guy IS sleeping with the woman or often at the stage where she brokers sexual intimacy in return for compliance (which kind of resonates with your point too). A good example is both Mystery and Style in “The Game”. In neither case did the PUA advice to go out and f~~~ 10 New women cure either men of their oneitis. I also wonder and I’m not sure if Rollo Tomasi has anything to say on this, if there is a link between believing in a NAWALT and oneitis. I feel there must be. In either case the male obsession is with a woman who does not actually exist ie. they are fixated on an illusion.

Ahhh oneitis…I’ve had two girls when I was younger I think I would have cut a nut off for at the time to have them like me how I liked them. I’ve run into them both years later. One is currently a 31 year old single mom living with her parents working a near minimum wage retail job, and the other 30, single, and so damn big if she climbed on top to ride my dick she’d probably crack my hips.

Funny thing is they both looked at me years later with that “save me” look in their eyes. F~~~ off c~~~s…I couldn’t have you at your best, I don’t want you at your worst lol.
