One small Victory in time for International Men’s Day

Not a new situation but one where the ruling has just come in.
Some of you might remember from months ago a case of Stephen Findley and Dr. Mimi C. Lee regarding the destruction of embryos after a divorce according to the original contract.

May though the guy would be screwed as has often been the case but while Judge Anne-Christine Massullo may sound like she is having her teeth pulled while making the ruling she managed to come down on the side of piles of evidence and basic justice.

I find it somewhat ironic that the state that gave us some of the worst precedents against men (I believe California was the first place in the U.S.A. that set the president of requiring male children that were rape victims to pay their rapists child support) is now actually enforcing contracts as valid on the other end. No completely surprising CA gets quite a bit of business in surrogacy as the contracts can be enforced there as well.

Anyway since the sight is back to posting active a late saute of International Men’s Day to all.

That was the right decision. My only issue is with the judge saying these embryos represent nascent life. They do not. If a first/second trimester fetus can be aborted because it’s not “alive”, embryos are not nascent anything.

The courts are getting scared of the reputational damage as they know that men are speaking out online.
