As a gun owner I’m perplexed over what the hell is going on in our society with these mass shootings.

We had guns available, probably even more available to us than todays youth. I didn’t know a single family who had a gun safe back then.

What’s changed? Society.

I’ve been saying this to my buddies for the last few years and finally someone famous with some clout is too.

Kids today are to use Ollie’s words “steeped” in senseless violence. Movies that glorify thugs and senseless killing as well as games like GTA are the root of these mass killings. Also poor parenting and drugging up kids with ritalin from the time they are 6 years old isn’t helping.

As kids we idolized the “good guys” and sure there was killing – but the good guys were shooting the bad guys but today the HollyWood tards are making movies that demonize the good guys and glorify the killing of the guys wearing white hats. WTF

These same dumbass celebrities are making millions from filming uber violent movies and then scream, “Take all the guns away!”. Also the same libtard parents are condemning guns while there kids play GTA til 3 am every night.

I hope Ollie shoves this message up their bungs and that celebrities started getting their asses hammered for this hypocritical bulls~~~.

I’m no conspiracy type of person, but I also believe some of this s~~~ is staged to get rid of the guns. That deal in Vegas where the guy was shooting up people at a country music concert from the hotel, just went away too fast. They never did make any sense of it. Maybe he did just snap, but it was one of the weirdest mass shootings.

I really miss the days when you could leave your house unlocked and not worry about someone stealing your s~~~. Everyone had gun racks in the back window of their trucks and it was no big deal.

My friend actually brought his gun to school more than once. He wanted to spend the night with a friend and go hunting the next day so he would bring his gun on the school bus and the bus driver kept it up front with him. He’d then take it off the bus and keep it in the front office until after school.

Some kids would bring their guns into wood shop class and make new furniture for them. Again, no big deal. Life was so much better back then.

Prescription drugs are to blame, but also there’s much more crime now, part of which I believe meth is to blame. Damn tweakers to hell. Back when and where I was growing up, there was booze and weed and that was it.

Got off topic a bit, but this world is getting more and more evil and increasingly going the wrong direction. I feel poorly about the kind of future my son will have to live in.

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

I stopped watching Sylvester Stalone movies years ago. I saw him on a late night show complaining about gun violence, and how we need to get rid of firearms.

F~~~ him. All his movies are based on reckless firearm use and violence. Hollywood should be held responsible for the school shooter culture they promote.

Liberals and progressives need to be melted down and turned into eco-friendly polar bear food.

Most of these school shooter types are the product of single mothers. Single motherhood has pretty much exploded since the “Good ol’ Days”. I too remember a time not very long ago that a student could come to school with a .270 Winchester (Deer Rifle) in the gun rack in his truck and nobody would bat an eye. In fact, said student and the principal would trade deer stories in the parking lot!! I always thought that was cool, hell, it made me go earn some deer stories of my own. Shooting up the school wasn’t even a thought back then because “DAD would tan my hide”. My how far we have fallen…….. I believe this is a natural consequence of removing fathers from the home. Look at the men and father’s rights (or lack thereof) section of this site.

It’s a tough topic indeed.

Living in the southern hemisphere, we don’t have much gun violence down under – and of note not many massacres.

Alot of people here will shout to disarm the USA, but without having ever stepped foot in the country. It really is 2 different worlds, armed vs unarmed countries.

As for violent movies and games, I was an avid gamer through the 80s and 90s, and not so much the past 20 years, although I dabble from time to time. Back then it was violent video games and heavy metal music that was supposedly corrupting the kids. I will admit that the games have become more hyper realistic and aimless (or open world), and have seen some guys going pretty stupid playing them, but at the end of the day, acting out on that is hugely distored from reality especially without access to guns ie an unarmed nation.

Part of my frustration with games has always been that they have been nurfed to a teenage level, and never really given R ratings that movies can achieve. Games always felt like they were held back so as not to offend, and movies were going all out to make people react. This makes me more angry than playing any game ever has, and nongamers trying to dictate what should be in games ie soccer mums or other concerned people who have NFI.

As for the world being more hostile, it certainly has taken a turn from the 80s/90s, and alot of anger seems to be thrown by the keyboard warrior raging on other people like they are worms. Alot of the problems of youth are about acceptance, that is why GYOW is so powerful, it’s about taking responsibility for your own path/journey and not seeking validation from others, not being competitive and stomping on everyone elses ideas – the way to win is to not play the game

The only way to change the American gun culture is to breed several new (successive) generations of Americans that universally have no idea how to handle a gun and would be aghast at the idea of touching, let alone owning, a gun.

We are a long ways from that yet. But the Marxists are trying hard.

I also want to point out that the “head meds” are causing Gender Dysphoria and coupled with the Feminist brainwashing in school, this leads to Identity Disorders.

I guess that must be most of the problem. Teachers and parents weren’t doping up kids back when I was growing up. Kids are kids. Some will act up. Some are more hyper. It’s idiotic to force a kid to take drugs just because he’s being a kid. This behavior modification dope is evil as f~~~. Back when I was a kid, if a kid acted up, he was punished, not with drugs, but with a whack on the ass or take away a few recesses, or make him write a sentence 150 times.
