Did I just miss something because what I saw was this nurse lying.

This is a disasterous result of the lack of quality nurses and facilities. Nursing homes are hell holes generally. The nurses at nursing homes usually are bottom of the barrel nurses that could never make it anywhere else in the medical feild because of incompetence.

Thats has been my experience several times over thoughout my years in the fire and EMS service. It could be just the area I am in, however this shows it is not exclusive to my area.

Nursing homes often neglect care due and use their patients as money generators. Its sickening.

As for the VA, it is such a sham of a system its appaling.

I would never send a family member to such facility of it came to my decision. I have taken too many neglected patients from nursing homes on squad.

This happens all the time.

I see nice old guys consigned to nursing homes by their loving wives almost daily. The old guys die alone. The VA system is similar.

Men might consider setting aside funds to provide for end of life care. In my opinion, Insurance or an annuity that covers 3-4K per month should take care of it. If you end up in either a Medicaid or a VA venue, you are rolling dice.

I’m not surprised. I have come into contact with a lot of females in healthcare through my work. Not only are they typically less competent than men with the same qualifications, but they care a lot less about doing a good job and do not work nearly as hard. They get distracted easily, want to gossip and socialize with each other constantly, and they seem to view their work as an unpleasant distraction from these activities.

When they are young, they are just stupid and don’t really care, which makes them dangerous enough. But as they get old and gain weight (almost all of them gain astronomical amounts of weight over the course of their career) they become very cold-hearted and bitter. They are very cruel, and i honestly believe another person dying under their care would not cause them to lose a single night of sleep. Some of them i would even say are sadistic.

So much for women being kind-hearted and compassionate.

Pure female deflection and unwillingness to take responsibility for their “mistakes”.
