Wish they were still a viable company. They apparently treat their engineers like Dilbert and their stuff is no longer in a class of their own. Like most American companies they have got bean counters that determine how to milk a product for as much as it is worth.

i donno, their engineering was and probably still is tops.
back in the day money really was unlimited. not like that so much now.

It seems to be a universal truth that bean counters take control of companies and stifle any good engineering by cutting good (read: expensive) engineers and making stupid (read: short-term) decisions.

Why are boards dominated by them? A good board should have a balance.. but they’re all dominated by the beaners.

Others’ backgrounds in the order they’re listed:
– management?
– medical devices / private equity investor (maybe his background in med devices is useful)
– White house political background (lobbyist?)
– Senior Military (** good. They need this)
– electrical utility CFO (WTF?)
– finance / private equity
– insurance / finance / equity
– prior CEO – background unclear
– Public Policy Wonk
– Finance / utilities
– healthcare
– private equity

I can’t tell if *any* of these people have a technical background. If they do, it just shows that the company/board does not value those skills, as they’re not listed in the board of directors’ summary CV’s.
