Do they not realize that if you take out the president through unconstitutional means, you’ve thrown out the entire constitution? You go back to square one. You invite actual anarchy. Treason is the only crime specifically mentioned in the US Constitution:

My analysis: I don’t think we have treason here as defined by the Constitution and incorporated into statute BUT WE DO have a violation of 2384. Throw that bitch in the slammer!

I’d say the more likely reason is that democrats recognize that there are a lot of voters out there looking for a ‘hero’ to say whatever crap they are feeling right now. There’s an issue with this though. You can’t develop an itchy trigger finger on every one who talks of treason, because they have enough mob support.
