NYT throwing Deputy AG Rosenstein under political bus to prevent wider scandal.

This afternoon (Friday, Sept 21, 2018), the New York Times released an article claiming that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein wanted to wear a wire in a plot to overthrow President Trump: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/09/shock-revelation-rod-rosenstein-wanted-to-wear-wire-plotted-to-remove-trump-after-comeys-firing/

I have no love for Mr. Rosenstein. But, I absolutely distrust the New York Times. The timing of this article makes it clear the New York Times is trying to use this article to deflect on two fronts.

First, the accusations against Judge Kavanaugh are starting to fall apart.

But, the other reasons, and likely primary reason the New York Times created this article was to get ahead of the disclassifed un-redacted FISA memos and text messages that President Trump ordered the DOJ and FBI to release to him, for them to see.

It was obvious these memos and text messages would be interesting, but the way those at the New York Times are acting, the information in those documents are a political five alarm fire for them.

The information likely links not only the Clintons, Obamas, their subordinates to a coup plot, but likely news outlets. Possibly even the New York Times. To a conspiracy of what could be classified as “treason”.

So, the New York Times is attempting to create a political firebreak by trying to trick President Trump into firing Mr. Rosenstein before the information gets out so the New York Times and their anti-American allies can scream “obstruction of justice”, and beat the “impeach Trump” narrative right before the mid-term elections.

-Rosenstein has been playing the game from the start. A whole lot of people in congress want him gone yesterday.

-The timing on this could almost not be better, big deep state bleed right before elections. ALSO breaking on Friday it is going to play out the whole weekend. By Monday morning it will be over for him, if he dose not resign before Monday.
-Brings up a whole lot of questions, Is Rosenstein going to be the good fall guy or will he take people down with him.

-Everyone is covering this now, and some speculation is starting.

This is Trump’s chance to fire Rosenstein — and Mueller

This is Trump’s chance to rid himself not only of Rosenstein but of Robert Mueller, the man Rosenstein appointed to lead the special counsel investigation into supposed collusion between the president’s 2016 campaign and the Russian government. Trump can, with what passes for impunity in an administration whose downfall appears to have been plotted from within, fire both of them. He probably should.

-The highlighted points in the daily mail open this up a lot. You tell the director of the FBI you want to take out a president, the director should have burned down Rosenstein that day.

BREAKING NEWS: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein disputes report that he discussed using 25th Amendment to remove Trump – and even explored covertly recording him to gather evidence

Explosive NY Times report says a frustrated Rosenstein discussed using his phone to tape discussions with Trump in order to document Oval Office chaos
That, the Times said, would generate proof that Trump was unfit for office and should be removed via the 25th Amendment
Rosenstein reportedly made the comment to then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe and FBI lawyer Lisa Page
A former Obama-era Justice Department spokesman tweeted a suggestion that McCabe leaked the tale to the Times in a ‘dangerous game’
‘Shocked!!! Absolutely Shocked!!!’ Donald Trump Jr. tweeted. ‘Ohhh, who are we kidding at this point?’
President George W. Bush’s former press secretary Ari Fleischer blasted McCabe on Twitter for ‘trying to burn down the house he once lived in’
Chuck Schumer warned Trump not to use the revelation as an excuse to fire Rosenstein, whom the president blames for hiring Robert Muelle

It is possible Mr. Rosenstein leaked this himself to give political cover to not release the files to President Trump, as President Trump ordered him to do so.
