A Manhattan pharmacy has begun charging its male customers an extra 7 percent “man tax” as a protest against gender-based income inequality as well as a political move to promote Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.

The architect of the scheme is Thompson Chemists owner Jolie Alony, who claims that the tax helps level a playing field that is tilted against women. It also makes a political statement in support of women generally, and the Democratic Party in particular.

She also referred to the so-called “pink tax,” the extra amount women are reportedly charged for certain products or services, such as dry cleaning, personal care products and car maintenance. Added to income disparity, Alony said, the pink tax places an undue burden on women that needs to be rectified.

“We wanted to share that women deserve to get a break, and men deserve to be charged 7 percent more. Women are spending more in general and we make less, so we deserve to have a break,” Alony said.

But the funniest part of this is that men will just not buy there. Because they are logical. But a woman will pay more for a pink razor than they will for a blue one, even though they are the same product. Because they are stupid. The “woman tax” is almost completely avoidable by just not buying the more expensive product.

I hope she loses so much business that she has to shut down.

She should be more worried about the police. She’s only calling it a tax, but she can’t decide to levy an actual tax. What she is doing is discrimination, charging one person more than another just for their sexuality. That’s illegal and she is breaking the law.

That’s completely different than a pink razor costing more than a blue one. The only reason a pink razor is more expensive is because a woman is dumb enough to care. But if I walk in to buy the pink razor, then I’m the dumb one because I’m also going to pay the higher price.

Now, I think instead of protesting we should look up all of the “alternate sexualities” in NYC and claim to be one of those. Then when she calls bulls~~~ on it and charges the tax we can protest her shop for discriminating against the LTBG community.

I’m my country something similar happened in a restaurant, they charged men 30% more, recorded that and posted on youtube the men ‘s reaction.

That was stupid as f~~~, not only the 30%, but the fact that the men was the one paying the bill for his woman there. In other words, your meal will cost you 230% of it’s original value.

But here that’s not easy to go away with, they got sued, because here is an economic crime to charge more from a customer based on anything (color, sexual preference, religion, gender, etc…).

That was one moment were justice was really made, and gave me a hope.

Cool. Then I hope she is overrun with women buying their crap there while she eats 7% of her profit margin by having to remit that cash when she files her sales tax returns. I’ll give her a little credit, she’s willing to put her money where her mouth is.
