Most of you are off base. Women are the largest voting block, even more if you count in the manginas that will vote just like them.

If women have to fight in a war, women voters will simply threaten politicians with not being re-elected. You don’t have to get pregnant to get out of a war, if a war never happens. If women have to fight, appeasement will be the top strategy for dealing with aggression.

Most women probably will register for the draft. Then they will simply have more incentive to vote against war.

It is doubtful the US will get invaded. More likely that women would push for us to abandon allies that get invaded… e.g. South Korea, Taiwan, Latvia, etc. The US has backed away from war in the face of outright attacks before… the attack that killed 250 Marines in Lebanon when Reagan was president comes to mind.

We are so far away from having an actual draft that I don’t think it’s really going to have that big of an impact. Even then, I think they’ll immediately follow it up with expanding the reasons for a woman to be ineligible for the draft. Half will be eliminated due to being physically unfit. Another half will be ineligible for being a student or a mother. They’ll find something that any woman can claim without interfering with her life too much.

Appeasement is always going to be based more on the current political climate over the will of the people.
