the tomb raider character, lara croft, is far from a damsel in distress and the japanese bikini girl is from what is basically a soft porn game. they need better examples of the alleged sexism in the pictures they use.

If women created a video game based on 50 Shades of Grey or any fantasy where a man did stuff to entertain them, I wouldn’t care! Just because I’m not a fan of romance books & dildos doesn’t mean I need to do stuff to ruin women’s entertainment. If I wanted to be a dick, I would start a campaign to ban everything that entertains women: male strippers, Sex In The City, Valentine’s Day, Ladies Night w/ free admission, Barry Manilow concerts, yoga pants, and baby showers….simply because I don’t like that stuff. Valentine’s Day has got to be the most sexist day of the year. It’s a day where men give and women get. But do you hear us complaining about it? We just go along with it. So shut up about this video game BS & let us have some harmless entertainment after a hard day at work.

The reality is he has given his opinion, an admission is something that is factual and does not depend on admitting it or not.

Example: I admit I ate the last cookie. (admission).

You want to talk about sexist? Women should be glad that characters like Laura Croft are even given credit. Under normal circumstances it would be incredibly difficult to portray a women being a hero in any fashion, way or form. If we wanted to be ‘realistic”, the game would consist of her bitching and moaning until they gave her the f*king treasure. Either that, or she’d be a land-whale looking for a free ride, chasing men, having to stop every 6 minutes of running to catch her breath…smfh…

Sexism in games is a hot topic at the moment, with feminists demanding designers introduce characters with more depth than the typical scantily-clad damsels in distress.

Yup because god forbid women take some action and make their own characters. Then you got people like Brianna Wu who complain about the lack of realistic body types and transgendered video game characters and what does she do? Makes a game with straight, white, hour glass bodied, biological female characters.

The campaign group Feminist Frequency recently claimed “women’s bodies are employed as rewards for player actions, a pattern which frames female bodies and sexuality as status symbols designed to validate the masculinity of presumed straight male players”.

Just quoting Feminist Frequency as right makes me loose respect for this person as it shows they cannot think for themselves. Also women have no right to talk about being a reward when they feel entitled to make false rape accusations, lie, and steal a mans money every month in child support just because they are women, That is actually a dangerous thing while seeing a half naked chick in a game isn’t.
