This past week I’ve been involved with a project that takes quite a bit of my time, focus, and energy. It also requires me to work by myself except for brief periods where
I have to actually head out into the Matrix.

Anyways, while I’m engaged working on this project any problems/challenges that I incur I have been able to work through and progress along. I have the patience to think it through and experiment with different approaches until I’m satisfied with the outcome, and then I can move on to the next stage.

I have noticed that when I have to break away, and go out into the Matrix I have no patience with other people’s stupidity. This can be anyone from the horrible driver in front of me to the kid that just fu(ked my order in the Drive thru so I have to turn around a mile down the road and go inside to get the rest of my “fast” food.

I usually can’t wait to get back to be by myself to work on my project.

I’m really beginning to understand WHY so many people NEED to stay out of the Matrix…..

Most people just dick around in a fog going from one sensation (can of beer, soda, buffet, joint, tv program, etc) to the next. If you like to achieve things from start to finish, which I do and sounds like you do as well, the mindset of others cannot be tolerated. I have a schedule, I stick to it, and I don’t like to dick around. However, people are in complete opposition to this preference of mine.

I have always loved challenge, learning, accomplishment, and success. I always thought everyone was this way. Now I realize people hate learning. People hate success. Earl Nightingale said 95% of people would rather die than think. When I heard this, I thought.. oh come on now…, that’s just some catchism.

I now realize it’s not. 95% of the people would in fact rather die than think. I don’t understand why, but I am now aware it is true.

People also hate freedom. They hate it with a passion and want to stamp out any inkling of freedom anywhere. This boggles my mind. People love the authoritarian state or church. The sheeple love calling themselves “sheep” while at church. People love getting their crotch grabbed by the TSA. They love licking cops’ boots. It is beyond my comprehension. I think it was Plato who said, “It does seem that some people are just born to be slaves”.

I know what you mean, man! It’s annoying.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

It’s not just an age thing, people really are dumber than they used to be. I find myself wishing I had a cattle prod all the time …

people really are dumber than they used to be.

It’s more like more people than ever are being quota’d up beyond their level of actual competence based on factors irrelevant to the position they are placed in.

One of the reasons I started my own company was to get away from those people (and the assumption I was one of them).

    Idiocracy.
So much easier to be on autopilot for the entirety of your life, huh?

Going Galt as soon as I reach minimum retirement age.

I am going to live as simply as possible on my own terms with as little Matrix in my life as I can get away with.

Would be nice if you could just take out the stupid ones…

Like Dwight on the office said… “We need another plague”

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

I usually can’t wait to get back to be by myself

I rarely leave the house anymore other than to go to work. I have to force myself to go to town to get things I need. This weekend, I needed to go to town, but just couldn’t do it. Stayed home alone all weekend. I’ll do without those things until I can force myself to go to the store.

If there were no other people on the road, or in town, or at the store, I’d have no problem leaving home to get supplies.

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

I’m more patient than ever. Even if a person wastes ten minutes of my time it pales compared to my full 24 hours in a day.

By definition my job is in the “people” range. Nobody can drag me down to their level of misery.

The more I rationalize, the more I realize it’s been decades since I gave f~~~. If it doesn’t matter then it doesn’t matter ever.

I failed to realize in my youth that I was the prize. I was going to work. I was going to earn. Little did I realize that due to feminism, that no longer meant I had to share. Road soon, Desert after.
