I can appreciate why you might say that which makes it important that we consider what such protests can and do achieve.

Almost everytime there is such a protest you see police brutality and mistreatment of the peaceful and it gives people a glimpse of the truth about the corrupt police state I live in.

Now granted the media will lie and say the peaceful protestors were violent and the idiot masses not happening to me not my problem will lap it up, but it wakens enough people up to make it worthwhile.
