The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has recommended that Congress withhold funding for the F-35 program, saying the jet fighter is plagued with almost 1,000 deficiencies that must be resolved before production can begin.
The shortcomings include an ejector seat that can cause neck injuries, an unusable helmet-mounted display system, failing oxygen-supply systems and a mid-air refuelling probe that can break off during use. In total, the F-35 had 996 unresolved deficiencies as of January. Of these, 111 were considered ‘Category 1’ deficiencies – faults and flaws that could seriously jeopardize user safety or security.

I think I’d wait on that one too.
OATHKEEPERS, not on our watch. MOLON LABE
The military industrial complex is as big a joke as femenism.
During WWII the best fighter plane was the P-51 mustang. It cost in today’s market money 3 million a unit.
With upgrades exceeded it’s original specs. The X35,F35 continually fails and requires congress to budget more money to make it work.
Just like modern t~~~s. Pay more taxes men. The modern women will far exceed grandmom.

The F35 is stupid at so many levels.
Stealth is dead. Long wave radar picks them up.
It can’t carry enough weapons.
Stupid.

The F-35 must be one of the most successful boondoggles of all time.

Anonymous42So if it actually flew, they could call it a flying lemon! It’s where all the acid rain comes from!

Crazy how we are smarter than most of the government officials. I would have canned this thing years ago. Guess too many paid off people kept it going to leech off the taxpayers, but now they obviously look like f~~~ing idiots who have no business doing the jobs they have.
Didn’t a couple other countries already buy some? But yes, it’s another “Pentagon War”. Great movie.
Philosophy, the female repellent

Anonymous1Don’t confuse the article [Full Rate Production] with the idea that they aren’t being produced at a pretty good clip anyway. There are LOTS of F35s being built, and LOTS already in units flying.

I also heard that the designers responsible for the c~~~pit layout forgot to leave any room for a cup-holder too…
The F-35 must be one of the most successful boondoggles of all time.
I remember reading about another advanced airplane that was so fraught with design problems and was so complicated and costly to build that it’s production was almost abandoned.
That was the Supermarine Spitfire…
It is amazing. Have you ever seen it?
If you were tasked to build the impossible, how would you do?
Because of non disclosure issues, I cannot debate.
Unbelievable. When was the last time you could see through a wall?
Defective. Truly amazing fake news!
Stand upon the ground for one minute. One moment.
A story written with a singular narrative. Truly amazing garbage reporting.
1. Government wants the impossible built.
2. Company builds the impossible.
3. Government accountability office bean counter department says that costs are too high and product is defective.
4. Reporter sitting at desk writes article stating what bean counters say.
5. Shake head in amazement.Peace brothers

I have to ask if these fancy fighter jets are actually designed by engineers. These seem to be nonstarters to me. I would think the primary thing you would want on a plane that has guns, is more guns and ammo.
Jets are the past anyway. The future is UAV drones.

The program being discussed is a 30 year old program.
Unmanned vehicles was not known by the public.
It’s not all about fire power.
Technological advancement.
Just like NASA.
It allows you to make technological advancements that are applicable to the not known under cover of the program.
You only see what reporters write.
You don’t see the hallways lined with patents…

Today, stealth is the priority. Even maneuverability is less important in modern combat aircraft. The concept is to ‘kill’ your enemy by detecting him first (before he ‘sees’ you). And these days that initial detection and kill will most often be BVR (Beyond Visual Range)…

Anonymous11F~~~ it, the Feral Reserve can always conjure more debt.
With McD’s Quarter Pounder combos selling at $19.78, the MIC can make much more money for more G650s and mega yachts.
