The expansiveness, freedom, immersive nature, and ever-presence of the unexplored and unknown in this game gives me a soul boner. Not to mention the 70’s inspired sci-fi art themes I find beautiful.

In a way, this game seems perfect for a MGTOW who enjoys video games. A survival game about the unknown: on your own, choosing your own path, be it combat, trading, exploration, or any combination thereof, encouraging the scientific instinct and rewarding the intrepid spirit.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, I encourage you to watch some of the gameplay videos on youtube.

Any one else pumped for this game? Will be released late June.

“We are on strike, we, the men of the mind. We are on strike against self-immolation. We are on strike against the creed of unearned rewards and unrewarded duties. We are on strike against the dogma that the pursuit of one's happiness is evil. We are on strike against the doctrine that life is guilt.”

As a budding indie dev I am very excited about procedural generation in games. If used correctly it can greatly enhance the experience. Got to love the power of the (man’s) imagination… That and ue4… Got to love that too ;-p.
Procedural generation,VR,AI,and Photogrammetry are the future.

Hellz yah! Saw a trailer last year and had to mark the calendar.

I thought what I'd do was I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...or should I?

This reminds me of Ur-Quan Masters/Starcon. Not sure if it’ll end up like that, but that was a wonderful game (specifically UQM 2 which is free software).

I haven’t really looked into this game, but I will as release gets closer. I might pirate it to test and then buy the software if I like it (which I usually do, if they had demos I wouldn’t even bother pirating). I think GOG is doing a release so I’ll buy off there.

Time for a new PC… been checking on this game for quite a while. It´s open world pushed beyond the limits, no real mission, do as you please.. cool stuff.
