Nice, France Attacks

I once was in Nice and had a nice lunch near where the attacks occurred. Have some friends and family over there. I’m not posting this to make a point of how or if this could have been prevented, just that it saddens and angers me.

We are at a time of war right now even if most people don’t realize it, its all around us. I feel like every few days theres some new horror.

Just got to say my thoughts are with France for now and my prayers to all the brave policemen and security dealing with this right now. And although I might not date a woman I’d certainly save anyone from this !@#$% if I could, man woman or child.

Anyone else have thoughts on this attack? Regardless of how we feel about France, this is just horribly wrong.

I guess there are still those out there who think there were going to be no repercussions from invading and destroying country after country that did nothing to their neighbors. Every wise man saw this coming 14 years ago.

I have a dear old friend who was raised in the post-ware rubble of Nice, France. She died suddenly of a blood clot last week.

Last year, when she learned that I have a great love for architecture, she dug into her vast library and produced a book, written in French, that chronicled the world-renouned Art Nouveau architecture in her home town of Niece.

She saw far more violence than what France is experiencing today; but you don’t care how widespread violence is when it’s happening to you and your loved ones — all you care about surviving right now, this instant.

If this was actually an IS sponsored attack I will have to say it was ingenious, evil on a horrific level but ingenious. Low tech, no gun needed, just a truck, narrow street packed with people. Frankly I am surprised the attack did not do more damage.
I mean just like a passenger plane who would suspect a truck.

I think the French police should be armed with machine guns and bazookas. If the sick bastards want war, the French should give it to them full force!!!

I propose a global ban on dangerous assault trucks, cars, bicycles, scooters, airplanes, and boats too. We can have everyone encased in bubble wrap too with mandatory helmets.
