    WEST SIDE, MOTHERF~~~ER!

The Predators… don’t like ’em, never did, mostly because they use(d) to beat the crap out of my Avs. Glad they might lose against the Jets.

My Avalanche got kicked out by the Predators, but I knew that would’ve been coming anyway as the Preds are a tough opponent for the Avs. Still, good games.

The Jets, I’m glad they managed to beat the Wild with 4-1, they’re also pretty tough opponents, so all hats off to the Jets, especially now that they’re on the brink of advancing to the Western finals!

    The Wild. See the Preds.

The Golden Knights, the biggest surprise of the season! I scrolled through a list of their players and found out I didn’t know any of them (then again, I stopped checking other team’s players since 2006 or so, but still), and they did a fantastic job getting to the Playoffs, and beating the Kings and the Sharks with ease. While I wish their fairytale to come true, I hope the Jets can stop them.

The Kings. I expected more from them, but the Knights are just too good.

The Ducks. Used to like them when they were still the Mighty Ducks with their classic outfit. Now they’re boring. Lost against the Sharks like I expected.

The Sharks did what they usually do against the Ducks, beat them to s~~~, but they weren’t good enough to stop the Vegas powerhouse. Ah well.

    EAST SIDE, MOTHERF~~~ER!

The Lightning… ah, what can I say? It’s not a team a usually support, but I love it that they beat the Devils and the Bruins with 4-1 and are now in the Eastern finals. When I saw that the Avs got kicked out, I went on to become a Bolt for the rest of the playoffs. May they raise the Cup in triumph!

The Devils, never really followed them, bit of a so-so team in my eyes, always has been, so it’s no surprise that they bit the dust against the Lightning.

The Bruins. Well, I have one of their jerseys, but I’ve never cheered for them. I used to be super hockey crazy from my early teens ’til I was 20, that’s why I have theirs. I expected them to beat the Leafs, but they had a tougher time than expected. I’m glad they lost to the Lightning.

The Leafs… did they ever win anything? I believe they’re they only Original Six team that never won the Cup after the league expanded. Not surprised to see them go.

The Capitals. Never had much ado with these guys, even though I own a jersey (the old blue one with the eagle on it). Expected them to beat the Blue Jackets, and they did. I’m surprised to see them leading against the Penguins, but I’m convinced they’ll be kicked out by the Lightning if they manage to beat the Pens 4-2 (or 4-3).

The Jackets. No opinion. Glad to see them beaten by the Caps though.

The Penguins. Well, they were my first love before the Avalanche came into existence. Have always done well in the Cup, and I’m not surprised they managed to kick the Flyers out, and I hope they manage to beat the Caps, but lose to the Lightning.

The Flyers, another old love, mostly for the color combination of their jerseys. I’ve always loved orange/black/white and will always do. Sad to see they got beaten by the Pens, but games between those two are always a match of chess. Hope they’ll face a different team next season and beat them, as long as it’s not the Avs.

    =======================================

Who do you want to see holding the Cup? I know there’s a handful of Jets fans here, so I expect to see their name here the most if you fancy replying to the topic.

Of course I’m stuck rooting for the Sabres. Just like being a Bills fan, I root right up until the playoffs. Where’s my paper bag?

Jets fan… (from Winnipeg) its about time something good happened in that city. Go Jets! Don’t know what to think about tonite. I like the Jets at home but no team has won consecutive games this series. Also: Will Ovechkin finally get over the Crosby Curse.

Even though I want the Jets to win much Kudos to Nashville. Its nice to see a non-traditional hockey market get into it and they have a great fan base and hockey culture down there.

As a Nashville fan I have nothing personal against the jets or Winnipeg, its just a game after all.

I have been told we are in a nuclear blast zone because there are missile silos in N. Dakota but thanks for reminding them. The end will be loud, very bright and quick!

Vegas is back in the game, it seems. I do hope the Bolts do the same.

Gotta love the commercial of the men whomes names are on the cup. That’s has to be the only all male commercial in the last 20 years. Last bastion of masculinity.
