New website feature?

I think it would be nice to have a survey section on this website where members can vote and see the total results in real time. Each member can only vote once. sample survey questions would be:

Relationship status?
__divorced
__never married
__in a long term relationship
__short term relationships only

Age range
__20-29
__30-39,……….etc

What country do you live?
__USA
__Canada
__UK..etc

Are you a woman or a feminist?
(ahaha just kidding),

Do you guys think this is a good idea? feel free to post other interesting survey questions, these are just ideas out of the top of my head.

Bad idea.
Little too much personal info on the internet for me. Anything you do on the internet can be traced. Despite @keymaster‘s best efforts what if MGTOW is eventually hacked. Do you want the feminazi to know that much about you?

The numbers would be skewed by people that are trolling and from those that would want to sign up just to eff with the survey.

To eliminate this, each member would have to have a control number assigned to them and the data of the trolls would have to be eliminated.

Keymaster would have to be the keeper of the data and have access to all of this. I’m not sure that he wants the responsibility or do I think it fair for me to ask this of him.

There are other issues as well.

the only possibility would be non-personal survey questions……..like topics from the “Cool S~~~ and fun stuff” forums.

We have a bunch of other priorities at the moment – especially with all the recent BBC drama and a flood of emails about that . All of this takes away from production time. But as far as “surveys” are concerned……

1. Surveys We were already long thinking about asking for your “YES” / “NO” / “DON’T CARE” opinions on a few things …. like GEO location with map representations. Some members put their cities in, but it really only works if many are interested. Then you can enter your zip and see what members are also in your CITY — or country.. Just for interests sake. We would not get any more detailed than that. Everyone has the ability to edit their profile and add city / country, so for those who don’t want to…… no problem. We can still provide a google map with pins for those who do,… leaving it for you to decide if you want to be included.

RoDyal actually asked to NOT display the total posts and replies he posted (BigBoy happens to like the feature) so we are making that optional on a per-user basis. You will be able to turn that ON / OFF if you want.

Otherwise surveys will be YES / NO / DONT CARE questions which will be in the sidebar which is still very new. Your answers will matter when it comes to upcoming features.

SOME UPCOMING PLANS (WITHOUT SPOILERS)

2. Private forum. The private forum groups already exist and we have added some members to it already. We consider the first 10,000 to be “the most privileged” so they are being added first.

3. Membership tiers. We have implemented 3 membership tiers

1. GUEST
2. GHOST
3. GALT

Some extra privs will be extended to each tier and your forums reputation and participation / upvotes / c~~~s punted totals will all factor in.

The thing that has held us back with memberships is — private forum posts slow the forums down. If you create a topic in the private forum and someone replies, we have to restrict it from being visible EVERYWHERE. That means on every forums page, we have to say “give us everything EXCEPT private forum replies …. give us 20 and if any are private …. give us that many public replies”.

That’s an enormous goddam headache and in testing we noticed it slowed the forums down alot, so we have to work on that still.

4. Favorites We have a new archive favorites system in place and I am the asshoel that is making that priority one.

5. Search Site search is off until the BBC t~~~ts are destroyed. We’re almost there. Forums search is back and working as usual now.

6. Private messaging / Chat Already done , ready and tested. but not available for everyone. Membership tiers need to be fully sorted first.

7. A s~~~load of new stuff…. which will come as soon as we are f~~~ing able.

The information in MGTOW demographics is enough for me and it is freely given. In the posts there are also sometimes enough informations like… I am living here in….I am leaving this country….Today is my birthday…etc. Not to forget the Members introductions.
