Hi, new member here. I’m new to the name MGTOW, but as far as I know, I’ve always been MGTOW.

I’ve always gone my own ways, not just with females and relationships, but in other things as well. You might call me a non-conformist, always on the edge of the new and interesting stuff. But it soon becomes old hat, so it can become easy to end up a cynic.

To me it began when I view relationships from within my own family. It sort of colored my viewpoint from then on, as I can now recall telling myself; “I’m not going to have anything to do with this kind of s~~~”. And I was only 10 at the time. Since then I’ve unconsciously self-sabotaged anything that might have led to relationships, on one hand. On the other hand I was “lucky” that I was only (and still am) a 6-7 on a scale from 0-10 (were 10 is the best-looking), pushing the most vacuous members of females away.

You might call it the push-pull effect to avoid relationships.

Welcome! I am glad for you that you wised up at such a young age. Congratulations! You had to overcome enormous pressure from all of society to get there and stay there. These days survival literally means staying single.

My story is quite similar. I knew that marriage was not for me and the realization dawned about the same age. That “messed up” my relations~~~s with my girlfriends. One of my married friends keeps telling me that I am lucky to be single. It was not luck. It was my deep down mind trying to save me from the living death of marriage.

    Thanks!

I lurked for a while, reading the forums to know the experience you’ve had.

When I tried to enter the site, I got a capcha, but the icon wasn’t loaded, so I couldn’t enter the correct capcha-alpha numerical. I guess Keymaster is busy defending this site from all sorts of lowlife that doesn’t agree with the MGTOW-principle. It baffles me, because to attack somebody who doesn’t give a damn isn’t an incentive to actually give a damn, lol!! The thinking of the SJW is completely backwards.

Anway, the site loads fine now, so I guess things works out for the better. But I wish the SJW would understand Voltaire said when he said; “I might disagree with you, but I will defend your right to state your mind with my life” (sort of paraphrasing as my memory is a bit fuzzy on the exact wording).

Haha . . . . . I found out that I was actually doing the same but in a more deliberate manner just to see how far I could pull the t~~~’s strings.
    Anyhow, welcome.
