I heard about this on my local news station (I like to listen to TV while falling asleep) but I figured I’d find a link so you guys can read it yourself. This was the first one that popped up to me. My first thought was “NAWWWWW, REALLY?!?!?!” In other news, water is wet. Did they really need to conduct a study? I apologize if this seems obvious or has been talked about before, but these “studies” to find out things that anyone with half a brain should have already figured out are annoying as hell. Especially when we know it’s our own taxpayer money that went towards paying for that “study”. Thoughts, guys?

I suppose there are two or three random people that do it to hold themselves accountable. The other 10 million are narcissists.

I do hope this was a taxpayer funded study. It would make me feel are warm and fuzzy to know my hard earned tax dollars were spent on such a ground-breaking discovery.

In other news, 100% of TaxGuys use sarcasm to make a point……

I could have told you that for free. .unless I could get a government grant..then I would have taken the money too..
I’d like to think I wouldn’t, but I don’t think I could pass up the easy money. .

As a user of sarcasm, the “lowest form of humor”, I applaud you sir. Thanks for the smile. <— Not sarcasm, raw honesty. TaxGuy, you rock!

I don’t know bout anywhere else but here in Canada these
‘water is wet’ studies are quite commonplace and no doubt funded by our hard earned tax dollars, so I can only assume the Gov’t doesn’t think too highly the intelligence of it’s citizens.

Thats OK ’cause we don’t think too highly of them either

I personally hate people who do selfies, because of the same reason; people who take themselves and every slightest thing too serious. I can’t stand it when people make every slightest thing in their lives all about them as if its so important. People even post pictures of what they ate for breakfast: BIG DEAL!

I wonder if these workout selfies are guys actually (I didn’t read the article), because I think young guys are into showing off working out and muscles.

Provided you’re not on social media, you won’t expose yourself to the narcissistic imagery of these self absorbed buffoons and buffoonesses.

My cluster B ex was prolific. Damn, I wish i’d heeded the warnings back then.

Well, blame the sycophants who validate this stupid s~~~ on social media by liking and commenting “OMG SO BEAUTIFUL” “MMMM YUMMY” etc., etc. I swear, if I didn’t need facebook for certain things I’d have logged off forever a long time ago. Even managed to go a few months without it at one point. And forget every other social media site like twitter, instagram, snapchat, instachat, snapgram, twitbook, and so forth.

People that take great amounts of selfies are usually narcissists. A picture every month? Okay. A picture every week? Okay. 36 pictures of yourself every god damn time you go to the bathroom? Nah, get over yourself.

Did they really need to conduct a study?

Professors must publish, and publish a lot, or they will get laid off and have to go and find a real job.

I can’t really blame them. I’d rather do desk work than repair roofs in August.

It’s funny how these surveys come out and everybody denies wrong doing, or the old, “I don’t do that.”Lol

Remember, the ones who deny it, are the guilty ones.

Just like I said, it’s ordinary people who do ordinary every day things taking themselves too seriously. You’re right; once in a while, fine, but 3 dozen pictures doing something we all do every day? Some people just take their ordinary selves too seriously.

Really, the word selfie should be self explanatory. Maybe the person who wrote this is a female or a man trying too hard to come up with something to write. Or hang on, It’s a women go figure.

I’m not even going to bother read it. And this is one of the only times I’ll say that buzzword that was created by a mouth breather . Self-portrait is a better word.

People taking too many pictures of themselves everyday tells me more about a person then what the person tells you. It’s also a cue for me to not having anything to do with said person.

Actions have consequences and consequences have prices. Cause and effect at work.
