I saw an article recently talking about how a Chevy dealership in MN is making newer style Chevy trucks look like the old school Cheyenne Super 10s from the 1970s. The price tag however does not look anything like the 70s. I like the look, it brings back some old memories but, I could never afford one.
I still drive my 1993 4×4 Chevy Silverado and love it. It’s rusty but trusty. I guess I’ve always been a Chevy guy. Nothing wrong with Ford or Dodge, I was just raised with Chevys. My old man drove an old blue Cheyenne when I was a kid, it was a mean truck. What do you think of the retro look on the new trucks?

Kind of cool. I like a classy current truck though
No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.
When all else fails, go with what works.
Very nice – my truck is also Chevy

Anonymous12Nice. All modern cars look pretty much the same regardless of brand.

Anonymous42Nothing wrong with Ford or Dodge,
Oh really? That’s a big LIE! F~~~ pacifying their followers, they can suck my Toyota tail pipe underwater! Dodge went from the best engineering in the 1960s’ to the Ram in the 90s’, today, and the worst engineering on earth! Right up there with the french!
That’s sexy! The modern front throws it off though. I think I read somewhere that Ford is bringing back the Bronco sometime soon?

Did they discover another rust mine?
Ford mastered the art of baking the rust right in the steel at the mill!

Old hilux’es . Seen an old model the other day someone had done up . I remember many years back a farmer dissapointed with the newer hilux and went and done up a couple of his old ones .
F~~~ i always think when i see some of these new trucks like those ford ones how long they would last in areas were the roads are badly corragated dirt roads . They would shake to bits .
THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .
Oh f~~~ing stop it with the I can’t afford it.
You want that, F~~~ING MAKE IT! If there are brits in their garages that got Land Anchors and kids that can build a bike to go to the Salt Flats? You can build any truck you want.
Part of being MGTOW is to go your own way. Get a hold of some duffer and he can show you the way.
Sometimes, you should build what you want in your life. And a TRUCK? There is no easier thing to build or rewarding.
Its seems like a ton of you guys forgot that all cars are now electrically passed these days. They make computers for cars that do JUST THAT. Diesel as well.
Nothing should stand in your way for what you want. Go out there and get it.
Someone once told me that I could not make a sound system to rival some of the best SQ cars out there. I did it for less then $200 bucks.
Don’t let a woman’s thinking take of the mind.
Every problem has a simple solution. The real question is are YOU willing to do it.
You are all alone. If you have been falsely accused of RAPE, DV, PLEASE let all men know about the people who did this. http://register-her.net/web/guest/home
Yeah, tell me about it… I found two, quarter-sized rust holes in the floor of my Ford. Once I removed the carpet and cut all of the unsound metal away, I was left with two gaping holes, about 12″ by 8″ each. Ford “designers” assembled a “sandwich” of metal comprised of a crossmember under the floor, reinforcing plate above that, and then the floor itself — with absolutely no provisions for keeping road salt and water out of the sandwich.

The Chevys had a lot of rust problems as well. One needs a tetanus shot before working on my 1993 Chevy. Can’t complain about anything else though. It’s had a rough 24 year life and still going strong.
I don’t know to much about other trucks. If Tower is a Toyota man then they must be good trucks.

It seems everything old school was built to last. I bet the outback down under would be a good testing ground for trucks.

Have you guys ever seen an F250 wobble? I think it only happens to Super Duty’s. My uncle had an F150 in the 90’s for 10+ years and he had no complaints. I think I’ve seen some videos about modern Jeep’s with the same problem.

Wow that is bad. I’m not a mech, but could guess it is a drive shaft problem, or steering or wheel alignment.
That is enough to p~~~ a guy off especially if it is not that old. Thanks for the info Duke. I’ve never seen a newer Ford do that. I do wonder if it is a common problem. Maybe one of our resident Mgtow mechs can enlighten us.Back off Barbie!
It’s a beautiful truck but new cars and trucks are TOO BIG.

I’m risking doxing myself, but I repainted these fairings which used to have shiny chrome trims, now they are flat black, clear coat matte finished. I got a speeding ticket on one of these the other day. 55mph in the 35mph! lol. These 169cc bikes are fuel injected and can hit 65 with a 200lb man.
Mileage 75+ miles per gallon. Fill up premium for $4. Insurance cost for 1 year is only $110 for the whole year. Fits anywhere, easily maneuverable thru traffic and in between cars. Park anywhere you want, screw paying the meter..park on sidewalk or even inside building.

I researched “death wobble” in both motorcycles and trucks, it’s caused by a loose triple tree or worn front end parts, the only way to cure it is with a rebuild.
Trailer wobble is different, it’s from improper loading of the combination truck/trailer, it’s always best to load 60/40 on the trailer with sufficient ballast in the towing vehicle.
When I load my trailer I go down the highway straight as an arrow with the load strapped down tight, balanced, and stable.
