New Old MGTOW

Hello,
I am a soon to be retired MGTOW.
In two months at the age of 56 I will be embarking on my new life of FREEDOM!

Since most people seem to need labels to identify I will say that I am a Christian, Constitutional, Conservative, Libertarian. If you have a hard time grasping this feel free to ask me what that means to me.

I was a MGTOW long before I ever heard of the term.
Back in the 1990’s at the age of 30 after having a son and daughter and getting raped by the divorce courts twice I got a vasectomy because I never again wanted to allow myself to give another woman that much power and control over me.

I spent the 1990’s as a MGTOW PUA? I guess is the term?
Although I don’t think that is a true representation as I was always very open and honest with women I dated that I had no intention of ever marrying or being in another long term relationship. Ironically women either chose not to believe me or they delusionally believed they could change my mind by offering sex. I literally dated (IOW..screwed) several hundred women, if not over a thousand. The one upside to modern feminism I guess is that women suddenly spread their legs wide open.

I relapsed in about 2003 when I thought I met what is referred to as a NAWALT Unicorn (hope I am using the terms correctly). I was married again for 4 years before her hypergamy kicked in and she left to live with another man and I was forced to file for Divorce or continue to pay for her the rest of my life as she told me she wouldn’t file as she would continue to use having access to my assets and insurance coverage.

After that I have dated off and on but without any enthusiasm and even the desire for sex with women has dwindled to almost nothing as I find very little pleasure in the company of women. I don’t hate women at all, I just find them to very rarely be worthy of in depth discussions and companionship. I would much rather spend my time hunting and fishing with friends or camping with my Grandsons.

I found the MGTOW community but I vacillated on whether or not to join as I am solidly entrenched now in Going My Own Way and don’t need any support group. But thinking about where I was when I was younger and believing that I was alone in the world of MGTOW I realized that I could have used older Mentors who had BTDT and could have given me some solid real world advice to help me along the way.

So I decided to throw my hat in the ring and become a member, if for no other reason, than to offer a mentoring role to any younger men who might benefit from any advice I may give on my personal journey through life as MGTOW.

Welcome RD. Sadly, your story is far too often the norm. Men trying to be decent husbands and fathers only to be kicked in the ass by society. I’m about your age and have learned much from the writings of others on this forum. Based on my experience-I think you will find this group truly unique and in many ways cathartic. Even when we disagree – we handle it like men and move on laugh it off and have a virtual beer. Glad you’ve found us.

My intro is the Readers Digest super condensed version of everything I went through.

I was accused of so many horrific things and had so many false police reports filed against me that I had to install a camera in my truck and basically record everything I did and every where I went to avoid being falsely imprisoned.

Thankfully technology has come a long way since then and men now have ways to protect themselves much better than I did.

I am honored to be the MGHOW of the day although I am so new I’m not sure of the significance of this honor or why you felt I was worthy of such, but thank you anyway.

I had some tough days back in the early 90’s but through perseverance and hard work things have turned out pretty well for me.

I don’t think I am one of the most successful MGTOW’s by any stretch of the imagination but I hope that being mildly successful can be an inspiration to all the young guys who may feel like it is daunting to become a rock star or millionaire investment banker to feel successful.

After many years of life experience, I believe that just pursuing your own goals and passions and having enough monetary success to become self sustaining and go Galt at as young an age as possible is attainable to any young MGTOW who has the motivation to do so.

I encourage every young man to do so.

I don’t consider that I lost anything though.
I just feel like everything was a journey that has lead me to Red Pill truth about the world.

I do believe that if I didn’t have to go through the tough times that I wouldn’t be the man I am today and would likely still be an indentured wage slave to the system.

But because of my experiences I can now retire to my mountain at age 56, effectively going Galt, and just enjoy the richness of the life I have remaining.
