So it looks like a study is being funded to investigate Misogyny and Rape Culture on the interent. Or as everyone else likes to call it – Disagreeing with feminists online.

I did get a chuckle at MGTOW being at the top of the Venn Diagram. Clearly we’re the naughtiest of the Mannosphere and must be brought back to the plantation so the Matriarchy can give us a good spanking.

A quick scroll down to the bottom of the Reasearch outline page reveals that it’s for [sigh] Cultural Studies, Media & Communication Studies, Media Studies and Womens & Gender Studies.

Nothing of any importance then.

Wake me up when credible research is done by a STEM Field.

That’s impossible, since STEM researches works on real things, not imaginary issues.
However I wonder how they will classify MGTOW.COM:
We are very high in “misogyny”, in the sense of “dislike of women”, not in the sense of “hatred”.
Last time I checked I’m free to dislike who I want. This cannot be changed unless they’ll totally suppress free-speech. Not mentioniong this is a men-only space and there are even gays among MGTOWs, so it’s quite hard to hit us.
More interesting:
WE ARE ACTUALLY DESTROYING RAPE CULTURE (IF IT EXIST)
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF ANTI-RAPE CULTURE.
WE ARE ALSO ENDING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.
THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS AN MGTOW RAPING A WOMAN OR PERFORMING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ON A WOMAN, SINCE WE TEND TO AVOID THEM.

From a feminist viewpoint the existence of MGTOW should be a very good deal: you get men who don’t rape, don’t abuse and don’t harass women. NEVER.
That’s the most important issue, isn’t it?

They have not even an hint about how men works, and they are not even that good in feminist theory: I took a gender studies class (some months, it was an optional class, not a full degree) and I have read a lot of feminist literature.
The position of MRAs near Trad Cons is right, but MGTOW should be in the place occupied by PUA and PUA should be in the place occupied by MGTOW – this is a very unprofessional and superficial work: there are MGTOW that have relations with women that aren’t so different from a PUA but they’re a narrow minority – at the same time the idea of “going monk” is a radical departure from a Trad Con mentality and it’s much more prevalent among MGTOW than the few MGTOWs f~~~ing women almost like PUAs.
Personally I’m somewhat at the extreme – though I still have a partner and as you know some positions of mine are very “women-friendly” personally I:
Support surrogacy, that is an important step for granting men the access to artificial wombs when it’ll be the moment – if we’ll manage to keep surrogacy as a fully legal option for a single man or a couple of gays for having children, then no one could negate to men the access to artificial wombs.
Artificial wombs will be men’s reproductive freedom.
I don’t even use fleshlights, due purely ideological reasons: I don’t wish to use things shaped like a vagina.

I agree with Mr. Eric …. MGTOW’s doing a fairly good job of removing rape culture (if there’s any) and domestic violence against women. They are finally free to ‘do as they want’ because we are not chasing them, not bothering them and letting them all be independent and empowered. We aren’t doing anything outside this space, i.e. a few GBs of paid cyber space and maybe a few extreme MGTOWs who comment on public sites (that could be dismissed almost instantly as misogyny).

Why are they ‘worried’? They wanted this, didn’t they? Now that they got it, why are they complaining?
