Hey fellas, I have been extremely busy lately with work and all so haven’t been on much. I transferred to another job within my company working on army helicopters this time instead of airforce people movers, got a pay raise out of it too. Its a bit different, alot of learning, especially with how much these things like to rip themselves to pieces, a million parts all fighting each other. We do depot level maintenance, which means we tear into everything very significantly. Panels, blades, floors, everything comes up. Lots of sheetmetal and electronic work… I work with about 20 other people in my immediate area, my crew and one other, I am the only single guy with no kids I have noticed. Ive gotten along with everyone alright but man, I just can’t believe the amount of crap these guys put up with from their wives… One guy was telling me his wife holds the reigns in his marriage, and she yells at him alot but I guess he is used to it, she doesn’t work either and they have 2 kids… I thought about all this when I went and bought a new motorcycle the other day while thinking how nice it is I dont have to ask anyone how or if I can spend my own money on stuff or things I want to do. I just don’t get how guys can get roped into it, O mean even before I knew what MGTOW was the idea of sharing money just never sat right with me, atleast not to have some pig of a wife sit at home all day watching trash tv and bitch you out the moment you get home from working a 10 hour shift. F~~~ that, I’ve never wanted any part of it.

The bike I ended up buying is a 2015 Ducati Hypermotard, I absolutely love it. I was unsure of buying a ducati as their reputation has been in the past that they are higher maintenance compared to japanese bikes. This stereotype from what research I have done falls short for the most part, though they are very reliable nowadays it seems maintaining them is just a tad more pricey compared to the jap bikes. My response to this was “f~~~ it” I can afford the maintenance and I wanted something nice so I bought it without having to ask for permission.

I hear ya bro, I’m a s~~~ty helicopter mechanic (RC) getting the attack angle incidence and balance on the main rotor is motherfkr! The one I repaired flew so poorly from vibration and bad calibration it crashed again, it’s amazing how much performance vibration can steal, it went from a smooth easy handler, to bucking whirling bronco.

Ducati is my favorite sport bike, they’re so nimble! Good choice!
