Read the stories when I was in my teens, remember reading back then about an unfinished book. Don’t care if someone,…the son is making some money off his father’s name. Going to buy the book and I am sure it will be on or close to the same level as the existing series.

Tolkien the Original was a genius. He started the whole universe of elves, dwarves, humans that all other writers of this genre have no choice but to follow.

Yes making money from him is cheap and everyone else does it anyway.

Actually, the universe existed already. Its called Norse/Germanic Paganism. Tolkien took the myths and legends and made them his own.

The Fall of Gondolin was already in the book of “Unfinished Tales” as I remember. Quite a good read.
