There are good reasons, most of which involve combating counterfeiting, to periodically change the design of a currency.

While I loathe Jackson primarily for his expansion of the spoils system to the federal level and subsequent institutional corruption that resulted, removing him from the $20 bill says more about the historical illiteracy of those proposing that removal and less about him as a man.

I know some of you may disagree with me but giving women the vote was the biggest mistake that was ever made in this country. That being said, those women that pushed for equality should not be on a currency note. I don’t mind equality or women having the vote, But because women as a group are pretty lackadaisical or even apathetic when it comes to politics. Women vote with their feelings or how cute someone is. Not on the issues unless it is getting them “free stuff”.

Seems to be a contradiction there. Giving women the vote was a huge mistake, but then you say you don’t mind them having the vote? Which is it?
