My ‘Duck” theory.

I have a fascinating story to tell you guys.

So we have a pair of ducks at home. A male and a female, of course. Some of you might know this: female ducks quack louder than male ducks. 😛 Wait, there’s more.

The female duck is the boss of the two. She is the leader. When its swimming time (they have a tub that’s always filled with clean water), she would hop into it first, and the tub being just enough to accomodate one duck at a time, the male duck is forced to wait for his turn.

When its feeding time, the female duck always takes away the larger, and well, the better portion of the treat, and the male duck is only left with scraps.

But he doesn’t complain.

If they get separated, the female would quack ever so loudly; she’d be like “quack quack QUACK QUACK QUACK QUACK quack quack” and look for her partner, not moving an inch forward until he joins her.

Here is the best part:

Sometimes, they don’t return home. if they’ve spent too much time dozing off in the evening at the nearby park. They would spend the night in the park. My mom gets angry when they don’t return home. Do you know what she does to teach them a lesson?

She restrains the male duck with a plastic rope (that wiould cut into his leg at times) and , in a way, ‘grounds’ them. The female won’t move without the male by her side. But she is free to move about.

When I ask my mother, ‘Why do you restrain the male duck? Why not the female? They should both be equally responsible for their actions. The female is the boss, so more on her plate. She should get punished too, if not more.”

This is my mother’s reply: “If I restrain the female duck, she might get stubborn and stop laying eggs in time, you know. I can’t risk it.”

There could not be a better example than this one. This is exactly what happens in our society. Men have to suffer even though they moght not have done little or nothing wrong, but women can get away with everything just because they have a higher value for being ‘women’.

That is typically how women are now-a-days. They want to be the boss; they want the best of the best.. and they will not take the loss for availing these benefits.. no, they look for a man to take the loss for them.

Unfortunatey, the world is filled with manginas ike my male duck. So quiet and submissive…never speaking out. He even protects her (or thinks he does) from the other ducks in the area.

Life couldn’t get any simpler than this.

Yup, but a male duck is a slave to his biological imperatives.

Men are not slaves to sex, that is a myth perpetuaded by women as the base for there power over men.

I agree with this 90%. The reason is because there are factors which force men to give in to his ‘biological imperatives’.

Can you say that you’ve never felt attracted to a woman? Its a different story whether you like one or not, men are always attracted to women.. ’cause there are specific factors in a woman which activates parts of ‘male’ brain that make us ‘desire’ them (I’m a Biology student).

For us, resenting these instincts is a very hard battle. Even asexual people need love and affection from a woman. Why? ‘Cause this need is hard-wired (or indoctrined, whatever you like to call it) into our brains as a result of million of years of evolution.

These instincts were present ong before humans developed willpower. So these instincts are very strong. Over-coming them is no easy battle.

If someday, we invent a real ‘red pill’ which will free us of these instincts, that’s the day we can totally be free. At least that’s what I like to believe. I would go t any lengths to have that pill, even if I have to pay the price with half the years of my life.

We evolved nails to climb trees you know?
They are the result of million years of evolution blah blah blah..
Does that mean we have undeniable instincts to climb trees?And that we should do it because it’s in our nature?

I’m not glad to say that either, but that’s ‘supposed’ to be the truth. As much as I’d ike to believe otherwise, and as pathetic as it may sound. and its validated by scientists worldwide.

That is why I’m thinking of getting into Eugenics. It will take a hell lotta time, but idc as long as the end result is satisfactory.

Great story. You brought up some excellent examples of male/female interaction which occurs even among animals.

I agree with you that our brains seem to be hard wired to be attracted to females. Thankfully higher order reasoning can overcome these instincts. Personally I still find myself manipulated if I’m around women for a long time. It’s one of those eternal vigilance things. Thanks.
