2000 lifts and 320 press ups

2 sets of 800 lifts and after each set ((40+40+40+40 x5 is one set), different lifting techniques) I do 200 tricep lifts.
    So that = 2000 lifts.
I then do 80 full and proper press ups in one go without stopping, not rushing either.
About a 30-40 min break between each set of press ups.
Do this for four months and you will see a noticeable difference as I did.
And DO NOT forget about diet. Its just as important as exercise.
I ditched ALL fast food. I only try to eat organic and non-gmo food. Its easy in New Zealand since anything GMO made here is illegal, yet we still import GMO s~~~.

Oh, and I only used a 4kg weight! My arms were flat and now I have large tennis b~~~~.
See what you can do with only 4kg? Oh and I recommend Rammstein to listen to. A few of his songs are amazing to workout to. I never went to a gym, f~~~ that. That’s expense you don’t need. Buy a single dumbbell. You can do so much with it.

EDIT: It typically takes me 60-65 minutes to do the total workout without stopping. Stopping is not allowed!

S~~~ man I thought you were nuts until you mentioned the 4kg weights. Weight training is something I want to get back into and was always curious if the lighter weights with higher reps provided results. Thanks for the info in that regard.

No worries brother. Glad that I can share my knowledge with ya.
I am intending to upgrade to 8kg soon too. Wonder what my arms will look like after 5 months of that.

Did this as well, and what a difference esp in my brain,
much sharper and more focused now.

You might want to give Pyramid training a go too,

It’s the 10-8-6-15 method and it works great for me,

    so 10 reps @ 50% of your max,8 @ 75%, 6 @ 90% ,last

    flushing reps @ 35%.

I stick with the big compounds like Squats,Bench Press,

then throw in some Rows/V Bar Pull downs,Lateral Raises

and Dumbbell Curls- I do this for 60 min 3x /week so I

never over train, get discouraged or not have enough time.

Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!

If you do between 8 to 12 reps per set, your muscles would actually grow optimally faster because they would be in a hypertrophy state. Anything more than 20 reps will all be for muscle endurance where your muscles would not really grow but would have more stamina. I just started lifting weights again myself with 25 pound dumbbells and I am aiming for 2 sets of 20 reps by the end of the month or at most 6 weeks from now. I should eat more protein though.

I am planning on doubling my quantity which I did a couple of months ago, from 1000 lifts to 2000. Now I want to do 4000. I know I won’t cope doing that many with 8kg, I will have to increase gradually, just as I have done with press ups. Last year I could only do 20 and now I can do 80+.

Did this as well, and what a difference esp in my brain,
much sharper and more focused now.

That is awesome to hear. I can agree completely. I feel more focused and I can think with a lot more clarity.

Pardon my ignorance, but I don’t know what the conversion of 4kg is in pounds, but your workout session sounds painful and exhausting.

I just do 10-15 reps even if I can do more.

At my best I did 2000 push ups in 1 serie.
    Now I do 20 :D.

    Still, I like the exercise.

4kg isn’t much, but with enough repitition you will see results for sure.
4kg = 8.8 pounds. Continue working out, brother.
But why stop at 10-15 reps? You are limiting your success. Being able to increase and reach your goals is the best feeling. Increase gradually, hell, once you think you’re ready, double it and don’t give yourself any breaks. I used to stop for 2min breaks but now I don’t stop. I am feeling on top. It takes a bit of mental discipline to start working out in the first place, but once you start, don’t stop and never doubt yourself.
Don’t say “I can do it”, say “I WILL do it”. Nothing is impossible.
As for painful and exhausting.. It used to be, and it is again because I reformed the way I did my exercises by doubling the quantity in one repitition, but I will get used to it.. Again 🙂

Holy s~~~ dude. And I thought I did a lot. Ha. Good on ya mate.
Like I said to ResidentEvil7, don’t limit yourself. If you want to cap your press ups I would aim for 101 press ups. A very decent amount, but its up to you. I salute you both for exercising in the first place. You are doing yourself good.

Good thread. I often use treadmill when I go to gym (3-4 times a week), I don’t even run, but just walk fast for 1 hour, no breaks. And feels good!

The fat feminists should definitely try it, even if it’s just once. I guarantee it would make them feel better than eating cookies and watching TV.
