My Dad just got diagnosed with Amyloidosis

Good day,
I created this topic to share with you guys the diagnosis my dad received this morning.

They do not know what type it is but it is probably generalised they say … not good.

”Without treatment, life expectancy is between six months and four years.”

He got his Dx early so I hope he gets more than 4 years to live.

Life is so fragile, we gotta cherish that s~~~ while we can.

Life is fragile alright, an uncle had a heart attack yesterday, he acted quickly and got his ass over to the hospital then they freed him up again. Prayers for you and your father.

And the true is even with treatment amyloidosis prognosis is bad, those f~~~ing proteins made me put a lot of patients in hemodialisis.

Sorry i cant give you good news pall, lets hope the type is a barely controllable one.

Hes going to the cardio and is going to ask for heart transplant… hope he gets accepted…

Too much protein deposit everywhere, his heart is getting big and dysfunctionnal.

I am very sorry to hear about your dad. My dad is also dealing with some health issues right now so I sympathize with you. I love my dad a lot and I am sure you do too. This is another reason why life sucks.
