I have a small collection of comics from when I was a kid. The only one worth anything is Spider Man 300, first appearance of Venom worth about $300. I left the comics at my brother’s years ago and when I needed some cash he agreed to sell them for me. He gave me $300 for the Spiderman about 10 years ago. I was going through the collection last night and Spiderman 300 is still there! He gave me the cash and didn’t sell it. What a great brother!

Just posting because I can’t imagine a woman ever doing something so nice and honourable.

Anyone else have good stories about brothers?

Must be nice to have a brother.

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

My brother is 8 years older than I. Tough thing to put up with a younger brother like that when he was a teenager. Even tougher when you share a room.

Even tougher when you grow up in an abusive household (father). His way of dealing with conflict was rather draconian.

Later, when we became adults, he apologized for everything that went on between the two of us, making no excuses.

To me, that meant more to me than anything else. It played a big part in my healing, being able to move past the pain.

I share this because despite the fact that at times he found my existence to be intolerable when I was a kid, he still shared his comics.

To this day, my brother is still the most generous man I know personally.

"I asked you a question. I didn't ask you to repeat what the voices in you head are telling you" ~ Me. ........Yes I'm still angry.
