There was something very strange about these crayfish. They were all female, and they all laid hundreds of eggs without mating. These eggs, in turn, hatched into hundreds more females—with each one growing up fully able to reproduce by herself.

—–Interesting read. Knowing science will never leave well enough alone. Got the feeling we will see a similar mutation in something else.
It also bring up interesting point that females do not know the limits of the environment and will overpopulate.

The horse fish, while being male and female, does it backwards.
The female deposits her eggs into the male, who incubates them.
Im asumeing feminist arent aware of this, or we would never hear the end of it!
