hmmm I think maybe my music choices were a weee bit too eclectic. ok fine

How about songs you know, but don’t know the titles

I bought a collection of cassette tapes…umm in 1988, I think it was 100 different classical pieces of music, and I used to study and read to the music, and link passages of text to the musical notes…on tests I would “play back” in my head the music, and the words would flow through my pen to paper.

Not sure who else likes classical music here, but maybe this will pique your interest. The hard part of classical music is knowing who the composer was, and the name of the piece…Minuet for string quintet in E minor Opus 1 number 5 by Boccherini is a little obtuse. 4:17 in the second video…oh yeah its that light hearted fast paced piece very sophisticated sounding maybe its Italian?

I also used to listen to classical tapes in my Walkman when I was doing training rides on the rail trails outside Chicago…nice mindless music, good tempo, and I didn’t use them to keep track of time…pop songs are 5 minutes…some classical pieces are 20 minutes long.

maybe this is a good place to start… got a couple hours to kill?

Call me crazy, but I think this sums up MGTOW philosophy as well as anything:

    My head is spinning round
My heart is in my shoes
I went and set the Thames on fire
Now I must come back down
She’s laughing in her sleeve at me
I can feel it in my bones
    But anywhere I’m gonna
    Lay my head, boys
    I’m will call my home

    Well I see that
    The world is upside down
My pockets were filled up with gold
Now the clouds have covered o’er
And the wind is blowing cold
    I don’t need anybody
Because I learned to be alone
    And anywhere
    I lay my head, boys
    I will call my home

"Always learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself."--Groucho Marx.
