I’m talking about music that really emotionally resonates with you beyond “this song is good” or “this song is bad.”
A lot of stuff from Windham Hill Records is really special to me. Growing up, it wasn’t unusual at all for my parents to be playing something like this on my turntable. This song is so plaintive and bittersweet and has such monumental nostalgic value. I’ll be playing it on my deathbed.
