I’m talking about music that really emotionally resonates with you beyond “this song is good” or “this song is bad.”

A lot of stuff from Windham Hill Records is really special to me. Growing up, it wasn’t unusual at all for my parents to be playing something like this on my turntable. This song is so plaintive and bittersweet and has such monumental nostalgic value. I’ll be playing it on my deathbed.

Do you guys still listen to anything that really stirs your emotions and makes you yearn for better, more innocent times? If so, post them here.

    Forgive me:

Music that touches my soul: Pretty much everything by Beethoven.

With all honors to Jimi Hendrix, Ludwig is my main man.

Sit in a dark quite room with a decent sound system & I defy anyone not to be moved in some way by Ludwig.

Bach’s Air always tends to soothe my soul.

Strange times are these in which we live when old and young are taught falsehoods in school. And the person that dares to tell the truth is called at once a lunatic and a fool. -Plato

Was introduced to classical music early in childhood, what got stuck was Vivaldi“s four seasons and this one..
