fun in the mg tow garage, never worked on a Dodge before. It’s an easy but hard removal easy because you can take the grill radiator and everything off the front but hard because it’s very difficult to get the bolts in between the transmission in the engine I was leave that part to last. Anyway I had a couple of hours of good work this morning didn’t really feel like taping it you get to see it now…..

Sadly I can’t do that. The truck in Tucson where I live is worth close to 5 grand. I bought it for 700 I already have all the parts shooting it would just put a hole in it. I used to love Jeep when it was AMC not Chrysler. I have so many project cars in my yard I had to pick a place to start.

Something that may help with undoing the bolts. I had a car where the bolts between the transmisson and engine were impossible to get to (top ones on the bellhousing). The easiest way to get them out was to undo the tailshaft and gearbox crossmember so the engine/transmission leant back slightly giving more room. Then I would use about 4/5 socket extenders joined together with a flexible angle adapter before the socket so it was over a meter long then follow along the gearbox so youre towards the back if the car. Mechanic friends tip saved me hours!

I was thinking maybe I would just go ahead and drop the shaft etcetera pull the engine and trans out together. Well I’m pulling the entire front end apart I’m going to replace all the bushings Etc. No point doing it unless you’re going to do it right when you have lived without a car for a year you find ways to get around despite the fact that you don’t have an actual running car. These are the things that we find out. I used to buy and sell cars I know value when I see it. We don’t shoot our wounded

I felt so symbolic today. At least the music doesn’t suck.

Confirming the engine needs to be bored at least do you see all the scratches all the couches in the cylinder so sad
