    http://www.goodenoughmother.com/2011/04/why-mowing-the-lawn-is-mans-work/
Found this post on the MGTOW Reddit page. Even if women aren’t feminists, many tradcon women think this way. This is why I say AWALT!

No matter if they’re feminist or tradcon, many women love to tell men what their jobs are when not doing anything themselves.

    If it’s a “man’s job” to mow the lawn, it’s a woman’s job to suck a dick!

But, we MGTOW know all too well women will never do this.

What exactly is the point of mowing a lawn anyway? Actually it seems like a good idea to have your house surrounded by jungle.

I think the only reason we even have to mow lawns is because most neighbors and neighborhoods are big on having a family and they think it’s a safety hazard or some s~~~.

I definitely agree though. i think it’s a better idea to have your house surrounded by a jungle.

Women only want the good things, they don’t want any of the responsibilities, it’s like most Feminists even will want a man to pay for dinner. They are hypocrites.

Nope. By your standards that’s sexist, get out there and mow the lawn!

Whiny neighbors will complain it hurts their property values and the city will come after you because they consider it an eye sore.

Sorry, Monk. Link is now fixed above. More on why that can happen SOMETIMES is here:

In most cases its not an issue and you just have to paste the link, but to be certain:

    1. Start typing your post…..

    2. highlight (select) the text you want to link to something, and press the “link” button just above the compose window. …..

    3. Then paste in the URL you’re linking to and click OK.
(check “open in new window” so they don’t leave the site)

Maybe we should have an instructional video for that.
We tried to automate it as much as possible, but it’s not 100%.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

They also say it’s a man’s job to take out the garbage or repair anything.

This is how they make up dumb statistics like women doing most of the housework: they just don’t like to count the things they refuse to do.

Look, no society can function by listening to women and giving them authority. It is a recipe for failure. It is a testament to the sheer greatness the West was once built to that it has taken so long for the entire thing to implode. Any other civilization trying feminism to this extent would have failed decades ago.

The history is there. Sparta, Rome, the Ottomans, and countless others. They go to feminism and then collapse, again and again. This is seriously nothing new. Socrates was babbling about female equality thousands of years ago, him and Plato swore up and down that there were no differences between men and women, and Greece even had rampant homosexuality (in fact, there is an island called “Lesbos” and that’s what lesbianism is named after). It was Aristotle who disputed all of that, and it was Aristotle that eventually gave the blueprint that launched the West in the first place. Alexander the Great was not Plato or Socrates’ student, he was Aristotle’s student. But somehow, Aristotle gets erased while we all praise Socrates nowadays, and you have to look really hard on your own to figure out what really happened.

That’s ok, it’s not a big deal. And I’ll definitely do your method from now on.

    Haha, I know right?!

Oh it lowers their property values. So that really just means their property is OVERVALUED and they want to use government protectionism to prevent market correction. Everyone wants the government to give themselves a higher value than they can get in a free market.

I used to work for a female manager who refused to do any physical labor.

There would be boxes she needed moved to another part of the building and even when I was on my break (I was the only man on staff at that time) she’d tell me she needed them carried immediately. I argued with her about it and she’d say, “it’s a man’s job”. Since she was being sexist, I’d usually carry one box after my break finished and leave the rest for her, just so I could say I did some of the work. The heaviest boxes weighted no more than 9 kg.

All but 3 of the female staff were lazy at that job and they made up the majority since the head manager was a guy that loved hiring women to hit on them all day, despite being married.

I really hate that kind of s~~~. if I were on a job and that happened, I’d stay quite and just do it so I wouldn’t attract more attention. At least I’m getting paid for it.

But, I’ve had family members expect me to clean whole garages before when I was helping them move out. they expected me to clean it and take out all the trash with any help. I told them “I’d do it, but don’t expect me to do anything else for you ever again.”

That made them feel guilty as s~~~ and they decided to help afterwards.

Men are always expected to do jobs with a lot of labor no matter if they have a lot of muscles or a scrawny skinny f~~~ like me. Which is really stupid in my mind.

Between my own place and real-estate investments, I mow and weed-wack a lawn every weekend. With a push mower I find it quite relaxing and a work-out without the hassle and expense of gym membership.

However, I do believe that when the ‘big correction’ finally comes to our economy and ecology, lawns will be dug up and converted to productive food gardens. That is, when when the days of the 3000-mile Cesar salad come to an end – http://www.karavans.com/food.html

I like the concept of forrest farms, land spaces that grow fruits and vegetables with minimal upkeep (pumpkin vines, yams, bananas etc.). I would do it now at home, but my neighbours already bitch if I skip a week and let the grass get more than five inches high. One neighbour wants me to go around my lawn with an arched back and hand-pluck some of spindle grass so their seeds don’t blow onto his side of the fence. Surprising given he lives MGTOW after two failed marriages. He seems to have little use for his spare time, so keeps a lawn of just one grass variety you could play lawn-bowls on. Unfortunately for him I give far fewer f~~~s about grass and just keep it watered and mowed and let all the different types of grass coexist like a big, bohemian groundcover orgy. I have better things to do with my time than try to impress the rest of the street with my lawn.

I laugh at how anal many people are about their lawns and small-minded to think that the existing suburban mindset is in any way sustainable.

    Feminist Logic 101 :

A woman says “It’s a man’s work to mown the lawn because i am lazy fat ass and i don’t want to do it myself” = female empowerment that shows how stong and independent she is.

A man says “It’s a woman’s work to cook for me in the dinner because i am a lazy fat ass and i don’t want to do it myself” = male misogyny at his finest that shows how patriarchy benefits men, who are all incompetent lazy bastards.

Erhhhhhhh ….. I don’t know about you guys, but i kinda perceive some … erhhhh …. hypocrisy and double standards there.

"We didn't start the fire. It was always burning. Since the world's been turning" "A world that vilifies men only breeds a generation of men that feel no empathy towards women" “In a woman’s mind , there is really no such thing as a ‘we’. In her eyes, earth allways revolves around her, not the other way around. So thinking that your needs , aspirations or desires are valid enough to be persued, or even that you are entitled achive such goals, is like asking your boss for a pay rise in your very first day at the job.”

and me, like a dumb schmuck would do the heavy lifting..

Funny related story: I was lying on my bed and my wife asked me to empty the dehumidifier. I said no, I will do it tomorrow. She got realy mad and called me a lazy ass. She is not used to ear the word NO.
Then she proceeded to empty the thing herself. In the end she was bragging that she didn’t need me at all, she could do it if she wanted to.
I was laughing the whole time, and then I said:
I have been doing those things for as long as we are married and it turns out you knew how to do it all along. AND YOU GOT THE NERVE TO CALL ME LAZY?

I tell you, I an ever more convinced that the problem is with men, we actually listen to what they say!

My front yard is forest. Just have to keep the gravel road maintained.

    Feh. “Man’s Work”.

As if there were any other kind.

    So-called “Women’s Work” isn’t.

A chimp can be trained to throw clothes and soap into a machine and push the button. A robot with a 16 bit CPU (an ant has more brain power) can clean the floor. But measuring your lawn’s soil density, its pH, it’s nitrogen content, working out the proper fertilizing, watering, mowing, thatching, aerating, rolling, seeding regimen, and then actually doing all that? When even the labor saving machines for it are pretty heavy and cumbersome? That’s real work.

I would help somebody (even women) if they really can’t move something, need genuine help, and not being a bitch.

Another reason I don’t help girls is because whatever you do, they will automatically assume you are trying to get into their pants.

I’d rather be a jerk than be a mangina.
