I have been talking to a fellow MGTOW and have been thinking of seeing “Death Wish” with Bruce Willis tomorrow. I haven’t been to a movie in years because I see most Hollywood actors/actresses as leftist t~~~s that like to jam their political opinions down my throat. Bruce Willis is a rare exception and the trailers looked good. The originals with Charles Bronson was a series that I think most MGTOWS would enjoy today, they were hardcore.
The movie has been showered with bad reviews; “Bad timing, bad acting, no plot, no depth ect…”. Such bad reviews sometimes means it is a great movie. I’m not sure if the reviews are just or if it is because of the political slants (Using those evil guns for justice). Have any of you seen it? What did you think? Should we go or is it a waste of money?

Anonymous12I still don’t watch too many new films, especially at cinema’s but if you want to go then I think you should. And really f~~~ the critics, the fact that they don’t like this film suggests it will probably be ok.
The originals, especially the sequels weren’t masterpieces either.
Even Bruce’s sucky movies are good. Go see it.
Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free.
I hope the Death Wish remake does well.
The original Death Wish film was a red pill in several ways. Not just the main character. The film show how crime ridden New York City is and how the police do almost nothing about it. Later in the plot, the film so how corrupt New York City is.
What makes the original Death Wish film is not the vigilantism. First, the final show the crime ridden/anti-gun ownership New York City, then the plot moves to a mid-western city, showing the clean city, whom is pro-gun ownership. The main character even goes to a shooting range with a person and the person calls New York City a “toilet”.
Also, the film show the contrast of the cold, rude cityfolk, with the kind, warm rural folk. A rarity in cinema which usually shows rural people as backwards and cityfolk as enlightened. Even to the point the person in the mid-western city that the main character befriends even give the main character the pistol as a gift. This pistol is later used in the film to kill the crooks.
Once the plot moves back New York City and the main character starts killing crooks, the film subverts to genre by showing how easy it is to track down the vigilante. The scene in question the police briefing scene where the detective breaks down how to find the suspect.
This is both a wonderful scene and a damning scene. The wonderful is shows how to find someone. The damning part is this shows that the police have the skills to catch crooks, but they refuse to do so.
For many of these reasons, I consider the original Death Wish film to be cinematic masterpiece. Part 2 was pretty much a retread of the first film. Part 3 has a charm to how campy it is. Part 4 and Part 5 are not worth mentioning.

Bruce Willis Vigilante Movie Causing Major Leftist Meltdowns
In other words, go see it.But all is not lost. Once in awhile Hollywood gives us on the right a reason to cheer – namely, whenever a Clint Eastwood movie comes out, such as his recent The 15:17 to Paris based on the true story of the three American heroes who took down an Islamic terrorist aboard a Paris-bound train. Another reason to cheer is the new Bruce Willis action thriller, Death Wish. You know it must be worth seeing because movie critics, who are with very few exceptions openly leftist, are losing their ever-lovin’ minds over it – and not in a good way.
Or you can just watch it at home on TerrariumTV or KODI for free
Both Death Wish and Red Sparrow got s~~~ty reviews. I haven’t seen either but I’d go see Death Wish well before Red Sparrow.
Tell you what: I will go see it with Two Time Winner and let you know what I think on this thread.
It took a few days more but we seen it last night:
It was somewhat lighter than Charles Bronson’s version but still good. It is not easy to compete with the grit the original had as the 70’s were a wilder and untamed time. There was an insinuation but no rape scene (and I must admit, his daughter was a hottie). There was still plenty of violence and yes, this is a good flick if you are pro-gun. It was definitely better than the reviews made it out to be, as I expected. I got sad and angry and drawing out emotions is what makes a movie worth watching. If anything, it is worth going to just to p~~~ off the gun control crowd if you think like me. I left feeling like I got my bang for the buck and it had plenty of “Bang”! To some extent, it needed a reality check as one doesn’t just walk into a gun shop and get a fully automatic rifle in of all cities, Chicago? Yet it did address the problem of violence Chicago has very well. It also gave racial fairness when Bruce Willis saved a black lady from an attacker with a Glock 17. Yea brothers, I would go see it if I were you.

Thanks Sparky. The problem with leftist control freaks is they do not know REALITY from a GOOD MOVIE with lots of guns and kills.
Go also see John Wick and John Wick 2 – there are some clips on the internet.
You will enjoy both and Keanu Reeves is in his element as the no-emotion killer and his gun skills are nothing short of superb.salud.
