Mothers' Prayers For Their Daughters

There was only one seat available in a bus I boarded today and it was beside two women (very likely in their early 50s).

They talked very loudly. I could hear everything they said.

They talked about random women s~~~ like dress prices and appropriate hairstyles for church events.

Then their talk got to this point:

1: “ehen! I saw your daughter and her husband at the supermarket yesterday. It seems her husband always drives her to anywhere she wants to go.”

2: “Yes. That’s true.”

1: “Hmm your daughter is enjoying o!”

2: “Yes o! This is what we are praying for. That our daughters will marry into wealth”

1: “Yes o!”

2: “May our daughters marry husbands that will get rich so that they (“our daughters”) can enjoy the good things in life.”

1: “Amen o!”

—–This is the hive praying for their kind to also find slaves that will shed sweat and blood to generate all the wealth while they just sit back and “enjoy the good things in life”.
