Also, not every dude in Europe is a “car guy”. And even if you are a car guy, you can be happy to find a parking place within half a kilometer from your destination. So, guess what, you need to use the sidewalk. Or leave the car home and use public transport, and after that, you still need to use the sidewalk.

For the cycle paths, biking in the snow is not that hard, you just need to have some thick off-road tires (2 inch wide or more), and to reduce the air pressure from 5 bars to 2 bars or so. There are tires with ice spikes, for icy roads. Those give damn good control. (better than what cars on their 4 wheels have.) Then you can go, half the normal speed but unstoppable. And there is nowhere a law blocking women from buying a mountain bike. I’m still waiting to have fun on my DH bike in the snow.

So, it can be proven, that this is definitely not a gender issue. It is stupidity and bad organization issue.

Even if life was perfect, they’d still find something to complaing and nag about because it isn’t “perfect enough”. And they will find a way to screw it all up, if you allow them to have any say in the matter.

just look at this thread as an example. A process worked well, probably refined over the decades, women got involved, and it got all f~~~ed up. They couldn’t just leave well enough alone.
