Just when I thought I have successfully evaded feminist brainwashing about how “bad” girls have it for them, I recently came across one of those right when I was viewing a youtube video about investing.

While I totally agree that we should not stereotype, I hate it how they make it look like its only a female problem.

I was not alone.

Notice the comment at the end: “Someday when you have a baby girl, I wish you could tell her what she’s incapable of!” (read: when)

The backlash wasn’t because men ‘hated’ that campaign….they lashed out because nobody created an equal campaign for them.. it would even have sufficed it was subtle non-youtube-invading. But god forbid that ever happens…..and I don’t blame the globally leading men’s grooming/clothing brands.. they would be bashed so hard by the feminists if they ever published something even closely pro-man.

Still think its a good ad because it teaches us to disown common stereotypes… but how can I ever support a campaign that could be so ignorant? And men are shamed so badly when they point it out?

Maybe everything is not lost as long as videos like his are still around and out of feminists’ sights.

Used that in the past until I noticed some videos never loads up.. probably the ones with ads. Like: “No view ads? No view video.” People were also saying that youtube (google) bans you if you use adblock for too long.

I’ve been using Adblock since Kerio first came up with the idea way back in the early 2000s. I paid for their firewall which had that feature. Eventually they got bought out, and it was discontinued, but Adblock showed up. Adblock also sold out, so now you have to use Edge or Lattitude.

I actually forget how bad ads are until I load up the internet on someone else’s computer. It is impossible to use anything without blocking the ads imo.

I have never been blocked although sometimes you have to refresh videos on youtube to get them to work. But they will never actually block you, they don’t know how.

I also use NoScript and have most scripts blocked off by default. I even have doubleclick and google blocked off on this site.

Like I said, years and years. I haven’t been banned yet. And how are they going to ban you if you don’t have a youtube account? They might close your account, but all that means is you don’t log in anymore to watch videos. Block your IP address? In an internet of dynamic IPs? All they’d do is block access from the next person to have that IP who might not mind viewing ads.

I wouldn’t mind a female empowerment ad…if it showed a woman giving up her space on the lifeboat for a man, or carrying a man out of a burning building.

That would sure “explode stereotypes” and show what a woman is “capable of”.

But women only want empowerment until it stops being convenient. The moment that a woman is actually required to prove herself, then it’s, “Whatever happened to chivalry?”

I’ve read that adblock sells you to companies and in return some “good” ads slip through. I suddenly saw that happening on tumblr, where I saw an ad every after every 5-10 posts. I deleted adblock and installed ublock origin, look it up in your (firefox) extensions and install that f~~~er. Ads be gone!

I see no add’s other than bulls~~~ messages about having addblocker’s turned on my pc.

The funny part in all of this is the millions upon millions of dollars that has to be spend on these kinds of videos just to empower get women off their arses and do the same s~~~ that men have to do.

The version I’m running lets you configure it to allow such non-intrusive ads (which may be enabled by default – I can’t remember), but I have them turned off as well.

I also have ad servers blocked at the router just in case. Doing that alone blocks all the ads as well, but tends to leave the resulting html output kind of ugly. Adblock cleans that up.

Bitching/whining/moaning about not receiving what others have to EARN for themselves without making the effort yourself to EARN what others have, or what you desire. Working people are getting pretty fed up up paying for people who will not provide for themselves, and then being demonized for finally having enough of these physical, financial, and emotional parasites constantly draining everything and everyone around them.

If you are unwilling to put a real physical effort into earning anything, I personally am unwilling to give you anything. I am neither my brothers or sisters keeper.
