Top House tax writer Kevin Brady doubts new GOP tax cuts can get through the Senate before midterms

The top House tax writer, Rep. Kevin Brady, says he does not think the full Congress can pass the latest GOP tax bills before November’s midterm elections.
He says the Senate will consider each of the three bills making up Republicans’ second phase of tax reform individually if the party keeps a majority.
The tax proposals are at least partly designed to put political pressure on Democrats ahead of the midterms.

——————-CNBC, no other back up on this………The economy and taxes republican core. Yet the damned idiots can not seem to be able to take care of simple core issues.

The point is to present the plan, not necessarily immediately pass the plan.

This is how businesses are run. While the board of directors of a business usually approves large plans, usually a plan is presented to the stock holders of the business to show them that progress is being done.

This is actually an intelligent move on President Trump’s part. His point of view is showing to his supporters that there are more tax cuts planned on the horizon and for his supporters to go out of vote so those plans can become a reality.

It’s nice to see the plan out in public, but i would much rather see it passed and signed BEFORE the election.

I don’t trust anything to get past a hostile Congress in the environment we are living in now.
