Pistol Pete – Nah, dude. I didn’t beat any rackets, lol! I was at the top pay scale, not pay level. The pay levels are, as you said based on seniority. The scales are in line with how much education you have. So I was at the top of the starting scale, and in my case I was getting about $65 large per year. I lived in a small apartment within my means, paid my child support off and paid other debts off as much as I could. I didn’t pay off ALL the debt, just most of it.

Thanks, Vic! I feel privileged to finally be part of a movement consisting of many like-minded men. This is the only place where I can tell my story and share my thoughts on women without being shunned or scorned.

    WE ARE NOT A MOVEMENT……

AND I AM NEW TO THIS SITE. IF YOU CAN’T SAY ANYTHING CONSTRUCTIVE AFTER I GAVE MY STORY THEN MOVE ON DOWN THE LINE!

Excuse me? I did add something constructive to your intro. Now if you take offense to being corrected on a simple statement then speak up.
What “line” are you speaking of btw?

Jan Sobieski – Read the story again. I already explained myself and I’m not going to keep doing it. I said what had happened…if I put in every single detail it would have been as long as a dissertation. Do you want me to scan and add my court documents as well?

Read my response to Anderson if you want to see a little more detail. If you want to pick apart my story, then pick your own ass because I don’t answer to you or anyone else.

These things made me realize that I also wanted to be happy. Is this so difficult to understand? But I never ran away from ANYTHING, and ANY man in my position would have come to the same conclusion. Does this answer your question?

    Happy? Happy?

    You deserve to be happy?

You sound like a woman on Facebook. NOBODY deserves happiness.

You sound like something that rhymes with……DEADBEAT!

Kenobi – Typing in all CAPS is yelling in writing. And I yelled back. If you’d simply said “we’re not a movement” I would have moved along. But when someone arbitrarily yells at me on a forum where all are welcome, how am I supposed to react? I answer with courtesy. Courtesy is returned in kind. I apologize if this was all a misunderstanding. But this story, like yours I am sure, was about one of the worst experiences of my life. So when someone responds with something so petty like whether or not this is a movement, it doesn’t make sense to me. What also doesn’t make sense, is when other people, like someone else in the thread, tried to pick the story apart. I’m not here looking for contradictions in people’s posts. I’m here to relate to others, hear their stories and contribute to theirs. That is all!

JD Anderson – Ok, you clearly cannot take an honest answer. You should know that there is no such thing as a deadbeat dad, only beaten down dads. You just sounded like a bitch on the rag to call a beaten down dad a “deadbeat”. You sound like a little libtard bitch, you know that? Go back to your safe space snowflake.

Lol, nice one. I’m not the one running from being a dad and whining about people picking apart my stories.

Id suggest everyone take a deep breath. Insulting each other is not what we need here.

It’s General Kenobi to you. Secondly, only my first post was in all CAPS due to various individuals labeling us as a movement which we are NOT. The need to make that point clear is valid. Deal with it, it’s just the way it is here.

As ex-military myself I may be able to help you out. Is there anything you’d like to know? About military life? training? You might be going to a base I’m familiar with. What did you select as an MOS?

Jan Sobiesky – Thank you for your courtesy!

JD Anderson – Are you a troll or are you just bored? Stating facts is not whining. For example, you’re a petulant little girl. And I’m going to treat you like the low-T eunuch that you are by looking over your shrunken head and laughing at the snail-like blood tracks smeared on the floor behind you, 😀

Pistol Pete – Thank you for your service, Brother. I chose MOS 13F – Fire Support Specialist. Which means Fort Sill for AIT and hopefully for BCT as well. I’m a Norwich man but I didn’t get a commission. So I’m enlisting and going for State OCS later. I appreciate your outreach and I could definitely use some help in preparing myself!

I appreciate your opinion. I just care about the men on here and who I associate with. And a person who shirks his responsibilities as a father really isn’t a man. So Mgtow wouldn’t be for you because M stands for…. we’ll figure it out.

OUCH! Fort Sill OK, I hope you like flat land and lots of wind brother! OCS is definitely the way to go. Most enlisted guys have MUCH more respect for OCS officers than the ROTC crowd. And you can always recognize the OCS guys—somewhere in their ribbons is the GCM and that is (sorry was) only open to enlisted guys. I don’t think they have the GCM anymore for the regular army (which is what I was) but they may have an equivalent in the guard/reserve.

Touch base with MGTOW brother GregBo when you get a chance. He served 30 years in the reserves and retired an E-9 so he may have some useful info.

There’s a difference between shirking your duties and fighting for the chance to fulfill them. Real men would understand that. It is obvious that you would be a better fit in something like the National Organization for Women, where calling a struggling father a deadbeat is somehow acceptable. You don’t know what my situation was, and I honestly don’t care what you think or about your uneducated opinions. You don’t care about other men on here, you care about making yourself feel good by beating someone else down. Again, not something that a MAN does. Take a hike and find someone else to whom you can lose an argument.

Thank you, Pistol Pete! The GCM is only available to guard or reserve when they are activated for a combined total of three years on active duty (like serving on multiple deployments, etc). The guard otherwise has a Reserve GCM which is totally different from the more prestigeous active duty one. But the idea is the same in that in order to get that, you had to be prior enlisted. I’d much rather be a mustang than a ROTC guy. I will certainly reach out to GregBo, and I if you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to keep in touch with you as well. Thanks for your help and direction!
