Moody bitch down the phone who is going to try to cause me trouble

Just had a phone call from some moody bitch down the phone (a non-client but related to a big client), you know the type; complete attitude from the moment she starts speaking to me

Her question was a bit thick and I just had to say to her “it is what it is” as an answer because there was nothing I could do….she hung up on me with a stroppy “ok then”

these people are related to a bigger client of where I work so I just get the feeling that I will be hearing about this one later. She had the air of “I’ll get you for that” as she hung up

That vindictive c~~~ will probably bitch to the bigger firm about me because I couldn’t, in her eyes, satisfactorily answer her question.

I would think I am being paranoid but I doubt it…hopefully the bigger place make no issue over it (no doubt the story will change to me being rude or difficult)

Very often this situation occurs due to a TUNA’s incomeptence and she is looking to blame someone else of draw attention away form her incompetence by saying someone was rude to her.

If it EVER comes back around put the Ownership on HER. Nicely say to your larger client that. “Yes, unfortunately I couldn’t correct Her Problem/Issue, and that’s just the reality of the situation. As YOU KNOW from my past track record of working with you that I always do my best to remedy every issue that you have, but at the same time I will not make false promises in an effort to try and stay in your “good graces”. Number one I respect you too much to Not be honest with you and to professional to just tell you what you want to hear instead of the TRUTH. Unfortunately, sometimes people confuse my honesty/ truth with being rude when I’m just being honest and forthright. Granted, my work is a little bit different than yours, but i deal with c~~~y bitches on the phone all the time, as well as in my store. I give them answers that they don’t like all the time, and i don’t even bother trying to soften it at all or anything most of the time. I just bluntly say what I’m going to say.

The impression i get is 1) they just want to be c~~~y to some guy who is doing his job, 2) they don’t really have any intention other than trying to f~~~ up your day and 3) once they see how few f~~~s i give, they almost always f~~~ off and that’s the end of it.

In other words, that bitch was just trying to f~~~ up your day. I wouldn’t worry too much about it man. She’ll forget all about it once she goes home and puts some new D-cells in her massive elephant dildo.

As Itsallbs suggests, create a written record and make sure that it’s date and time stamped. If the call was recorded, make sure that it doesn’t get erased.
